Why are needles stackable?

During mass leather crafting I actually used up a couple needles, so went and bought about 100 from store, then didnt use any up since. So idk what Jagex is doing, maybe its a sorta anti macro thing. Macroer thinks needles dont break and boom they're needleless.

New ranged weapon anyone? :anxious:

Can't you see it now?

"pmg 1m g01ng t0 0wn j000! *throws needles*"

"Oh, oh that tickles! Stop it! *dies laughing*"

NEEDLE-LAUNCHER FTW

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

The little questions in life that cannot be answered... or at least I think...

Why do herbs appear under bones rather on top?

Why do you spawn in lumbridge when you die?

So many questions...

By popular demand, this signature is back- however I currently do not have a blog up at the moment and if I did I wouldn't update it. Sorry, the sig links to nowhere :( .

Hey, I know this is a completely random question to be asking, but I was wondering if you could answer one of the many questions I have about this fabulous game.

What I was wondering is this; Why are needles stackable? They don't break, so there's no point in having more then one of them. And it's not about the size of a needle, because then items like shrims would be stackable.

Thanks. 03-Sep-2006 01:34

Greetings Dusty668,

Thank you very much for taking the time to get in touch with us, we always enjoy hearing from our players!

You might be right in saying that needles don't break young warrior.

However if you are as bad at sewing like me then you tend to need a whole pack of needles, because mine tend to break upon contact with the fabric. Most of us mods prefer to buy little sewing kits that contain lots of shiny needles, we would never be happy with just once single needle.

The shrimps however come stacked up already. You could try stacking the stacks of shrimps into one giant stack but moving a giant column of shrimps would be very hard and totally insane.

It might be fun to see a giant tower shrimps though but it would be really hard to cook because the bottom shrimps would be burnt while the top part would still be raw. We Jagex mods, are very picky about the way our shrimps are cooked and I prefer mine medium with chocolate cake on the side to mix things up.

I hope this reply cleared things up for you and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have more random questions to do with the game. We will be more than happy to answer them for you. :-)

Kind regards.

  • 4 months later...

i remembered the good ole days in RSC when needles were not so well known to newbies. So there i was telling a newb that a needle could be used to poke cows and kill them. so i gave him the needle, in return, he gave me a bronze sword. I was so happy and laughing away coz i got my bronze sword back which i lost when i died. I was lvl 13 that time.

Just think, if it was the other way around would people talk about "Why do needles take up a whole inventory space?".

Surely it'd be better to allow people to only carry one at a time? Allow people to have multiple needles in banks as place holders, but only allow one to be in an inventory at anytime could work. :)

Why are needles stackable...?

Why not?

Why do you all waste your time wondering why are needles stackable?

Why is there a ladder to the second floor in falador's west bank if theres no way to get there? Why do you always face south when you loggin? Why cant the door at port sarim's jewellery shop stay open? Why Im asking these questions???   -.- :ohnoes: :ohnoes:

Why even try with that idiot? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.

They are stackable because the ability to stack them results in people thinking about it and creatings topics like these.

Think about that. :P
