Different money?!

Featured Replies

My idea is this....there r 100 copper pieces to 1 silver piece and 100 silver pieces to 1 gold...everything would be different prices like rune would maybe be like 25k gold or something like that and then weaker stuff r worth less gold or silver or copper...at the right of inventory it would show how much of each u have.

any1 support?

if this were to happen all peopl would be complaining about iss one thing ... bank space not to mention f2pers

but it wouldnt take up any space in bank if u read it right

Why not keep the game (which seems to be running more efficiently than this idea seam to be running) the same and save programming and server space

Well it's not like anything is worth 0.0001gp. And don't forget inflation!

Like forum text games much?

Um, I don't remember in any of the Harry Potter movies silver or copper as payment.

Anyway, what's the point of this suggestion? Nobody would trade some copper or silver ores for valuable item, tell me why would anyone?

You weren't specific enough. You should explain further what you mean, I read the first post, but it wasn't specific enough. :-k

Why ruin a perfectly good and understandable system?

yes i agree, its a good idea, but quite pointless and confusing :anxious:

The gold tings are Galleons. Even if it was 100 silver to a gold, it would still be confusing. So no support from me.

Make up your mind; do you agree with the idea or don't you? "Yes I agree, it's a good idea" is the exact opposite of "but quite pointless and confusing." If it's pointless and confusing, by nature it can't be a good idea.

Anyway, it really is a bad idea. There are too many things that could go wrong with it. Besides, there's already three types of exchanges; monetary, barter and services. Monetary is trading gp for items or services, barter is trading items for items, and services is trading items for services. It's a simple system that works; there's no reason to add another layer or three of complexity to that; it'll only lead to problems.

i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined

It's no use for it, it's used in WoW because a gold piece have got a really high value. That's not the case in RS so we don't need bronze and silver.
