that is why an 1 month supscription in paypal is 6,45 euro a months and a 12 months is less tehn 5 euro a month

well they could make alot of money but dont forget about the servers that cost alot to have those online and they need to pay staff... so its not cheap to run a big game like this

not as much as you would think. I work configurating and building servers and it is not rare for a reasonably substantial company to order 100 servers. i have personally worked on an order of 100 blade servers for a healthcare company in the uk.

i doubt it, id like to see a picture or something, on one of there links abotu gettign a job there it said they had like 5 million people f2p and p2p i think. but seeing how only 150k are on daily...doubt well ever see 500k+ ppl on at once

Their turnover for 2005 was actually lower than a lot of the speculations in this thread. Last year Jagex Ltd. turned over ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã5.2m* (approx $9m).

And I think that they must make 10+ million at least. Not bad for a game that started out with not many people playing, let alone knowing about, it.

I wasn't aware that miniclip owned any portion of jagex wouldn't it just be an advertising fee paid by jagex rather than stock in there company :-k ? i could be wrong though so pay no attention if thats the case.

They make alot, but they only probably make a certain profit... I mean they have to pay for the website... Pay for all the server spaces, pay for server maintenence, pay for new servers.. Pay for computers and software for the programs they use to make new items/quests/etc. And they have to pay their employees! So they do make a good amount of profit, but once you add expenses it's probably halfed or so.
