Lionheart_0
My finest moment, was probably beating my first FF game, FFVIII. I has spent so long just on that game, and never beat any other FF. But the boss fight in FFIX was probably my most spectacular battle. I remember it was late at night, and I just finnish beating kuja, and i get to this huge boss. I had to use all my FF knowledge to beat this boss. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! GordanFreeman
^^ Necron right? Haha just replayed that game over summer break, along with 8...amazing games. I don't even know what my finest moment would be, i guess getting a 106:20 kd ratio on CSS is pretty good, and i got a gold chocobo on FFVII...not much of an achievment, but it's something i guess. cadburys_egg
hehe I know that game :D . I was probaly like you as a kid, I think around the age of 3 I knew how to boot up the PC and get to all my games (through DOS :XD: ). I think I remember my mom telling me once I even helped her do something on the PC (when I was like 4 lol). @ Anesthesia: I love the M-M-M-M-MONSTER KILL!! Usualy happens for me whenever I get the redeamer into my hands >_>. I blew up my computer when I was about 4. :uhh: Does anyone remember those disks from before CDs were widely used? They were like floppies but about 10x the size. I had this awesome alien weird game, it taught me french and how to pwn at battleships. :D Now all of this talk of retro and old gaming is making me think of Zoombinis ;). Now that's awesome. Please someone say they remember Zoombinis. :(

darkmage099
Oh boy, as a kid I was a game kid. One time, I was shopping in Halfords with my family. I got bored and wandered off, not that they noticed :o. I went to the front desk and saw that the girl at the till was playing a game, a game I had completed. I think it was called Johnny Storm. Awesome 2D side scroller. Now, bear in mind I was about 5 at the time. I went up to this girl and I said "Do you want to know how to do that level? I found level 6 easy." She turned down and looked at my quite shocked. So anyway, about 10 minutes later I helped her complete the level and my parents came running over asking if they had found me and they told them the story. My other time like this was at Makro, a large warehouse shopping centre for those who don't know. Once again, I wandered off because my family had moved away from the games section. I found there they had a Playstation hooked up with a 2-player game going, I think it was Gran Turismo or some racing game similiar. So anyway, I was still only about 6 at the time, I went over there and asked if I could have a go. The 2 teenagers looked at me like I was stupid and started laughing. So they gave me a go and I played against one of them, beating him by about half a minute. They were pretty embarressed and wandered off, just as my family found me. But, I think my biggest gaming feat was beating Xenophobe on the Atari Lynx, when I was about 7. hehe I know that game :D . I was probaly like you as a kid, I think around the age of 3 I knew how to boot up the PC and get to all my games (through DOS :XD: ). moopymitchell182
Well... I had finally gotten my own version of Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne at home, after only being able to play it at LAN centers. I download my favorite map, DotA, and find a game. At this point in time, I'd only played 1v1 with my friend who showed me the game. This one was a full house; a full 5 on 5 game. I ended up noobing it up the whole game. It was nearing the end of the game, with the other 9 players as high as level 23 (highest you can get it 25) and being an amazing... level 14. Woo hoo. Not to mention I had a 0-9 score. :P Anyway, one guy runs into our base and 3 of our people jump on him, and he's nearly dead. Then he hauls wagon out of there, and we all get blocked by the creeps. So this stupid guy decides to stand out of attack range from us, and put in "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHA111111" repeatedly. Then I looked at my abilities... I had a spell that was long ranged and could take this guy out. I used it. :P All other 9 players proceed to type in their own variations of "lol" while I stand there taking it all in. Anyway, with my 9 deaths, I managed to buff up the hero who killed me... and he ended up killing all of us inside our base, then destorying it. I guess you kinda had to be playing... but I got a good laugh out of it. My other best gaming moments is when I beat THPS 2-4... and managed a 8 million score in the third one with no cheats of any sort.

Rob_Gambino
For me it'd be when I almost beat Chu Dat's ice climbers at an international super smash brothers melee tournament known as FC6 in South Bend, Indiana. I was up 2 stocks to 1 with about 30%, then I got nervous, and he got some ridiculous grab combos on me. Well Chu places 2nd in about every national tournament he enters; he is known as a smash legend throughout the world. You can check out what he's capable of below. BenBru
The day I got my 1 star general rank (legit) in Battlefield 2 MC for Xbox live. I havn't played XBL for over 2 months now :P I remember my rank used to be so sacred to me when I played Perfect Dark for N64. :D I love the classic UT, I used to play it all the time, I would get into these grooves and own pretty much all the comps on Godlike to 100 kills. Also anyone tried playing with the Insta-kill shock rifles on the smallest map with maxed out bots? Man that sure is fun. : I am an Atheist, and I take pride in it. xSxqPowerx
Getting every single goal in the faction lvl in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 IN ONE 2 MINUTE RUN, like even the SKATE letters and the secret deck and everything. It was intense lol, I had a crazy combo line of goals going on. Also everynow and then I just start owning in Halo2 and get a 15-20 kill spree. Lol, in my last 17 kill spree I got a killtacular as part of it because I owned their whole team with a shotgun and battlerifle
Barihawk
Tonight in Red Orchestra Ostfront 41-45 I was the gunner in a Panther tank. A Soviet shell knocked out the tread and engine, and my driver and MG ditched the tank. I turned my crippled tank into a pillbox and destroyed 14 T-34's and IS-2's before they finally managed to line up a good angle on me. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
indy500fan
finally thought of something i did, rather than something that everyone who played the game did. on the ps1 there is a game called kings field, an rpg. it has 5 different magic levels, wind/fire/water ect... i got to level 100 water magic, then looked on gamefaqs website, and every guides information was incomplete for water. all these game experts only had level 50 water magic at the most (probably because its really, really hard to level, and definently not worth it). i guess thats something, although i didnt feel much while playing the game, it was just knowing that they didnt get that far. lazy_cat
My finest gaming moment happened in Starcraft Broodwar. It was 2v2 game no rush for 10mins. There were three zergs and myself who was a protoss. The first attack was conducted by our opposing team when it happened only 8 minutes into the game. Those cheats! My partner's base was killed off by mass zerglings. Luckily for me, I had already built defences (cannons) behind all my gateways and beside the nexus. Now it was a 1v2 situation. A small protoss base versus two massive zergling colonies. Anyways. There were two major attacks; the first was when both opponents went mass ground attack (hyrdas) while the second was both air and ground attacks (guardians and hyrdas). I fended them off with 3 arbitors, 4 reavers, 2 templars, and mass dragoons. It was bloody fun! After successfully defending for a long time. One of the opponent started taunting me to attack and...so I did. :D With my arbitors I zapped my way deep inside one of the zerg base killing off their main hive, therefore, minerals collection was slowed down. My attempt to destroy one base was foiled when his partner came to the rescue. Anyways. I conducted the exact same strategy on the other base and managed to hold off his partner's rescue. Therefore, successfully killing off one base. But the guy begged and pleaded lol. So I allied him after leaving one spore behind. Then I started moving into the last base but this guy was stubborn. He won't go down without a fight. But, slowly but surely, I manage to convince him with my reavers to surrender at last. :shame: haha. It was a 2 hours game but it was all worth it! Beating up their ego and sureness of a win! My brother saw the fight and he couldn't believe it! Btw, anyone familiar with the name "solar-girl"? :-w P.S. There was another moment where it was 1 (zerg) vs 3 (2 protosses and 1 terran). But it didn't top the 1v2 game though. .: Gallery :. Away :( -cheers all! michiel2
It was one of those Unreal Tournament 2004 moments. I got myself a tank, (can't remember the exact name) and someone immediatly attack and killed me. :x So I spawned, took a Lightning gun while he was standing on a hill with that gun too. We had a short battle and I killed him with a headshot, it was so awesome. At least, I think that.
