September 19, 200619 yr WIP. The eighth graders make christmas cards every year to be printed and sold on a large scale for out school. My turn, blowing the school away hopefully. More to come.

Angels are mentioned in the nativity, this is one of them, a messenger of His birth, hence the horn and the script of his halo which isnt strictly authentic as far as angel lore- it says christ is born this night. The manger and wise men lie below, though its hard to see.

September 19, 200619 yr Author Rendered in black and white. Next I post it'll probably have been redone again after showing to my teach. Mom gave me some nice prismacolor colored pencils, plan on using them on the final draft.

September 19, 200619 yr Author The angel will have a red robe on, with the striped being either white or gold.(Red=heaven, White, Gold= Christmas, White=Purity) A brass/gold horn, pure white slightly glowy skin, white wings, golden halo. The bg will mostly be darkness I believe, except for the area around the stable from which a golden glow will eminate. The world is illuminated at his birth kinda thing I guess. Also reason only to make a small portion of bg.
