September 19, 200619 yr Nobody apparently remembers the original Whip and Maul specials. Maul pking is useless now after changing the spec. Whip is still a good weapon, but it was even more so with the original special attack. Man .. ALOT of people were REALLY angry when they changed that. I made my first 1m pking with a maul. Would get 2-3 glories a day, without fail, plus rune pieces, rings of wealth, and then my whole maul pking venture came to fruition with one spakling moment of brutality where I absolutely destroyed another maul pker. (Back when Glories were still 100k and mauls were 800k. O_o) i think cbow should have a spec, called 'impale', takes up whole spec bar, but does 1 hit of double damage We have one called impale. September 19, 200619 yr ive always though a crysta bow should have a special. why not?, the whip already has one. i can see jagex's reasoning behind reduceing the msb spec because a main weapon that is used for most of the fight shouldnt be able to hit twice more than once. a dds is never used as a main weapon in battle, so thats why it has its spec. i can see an elf update next month, with the opening of priffidas and the quest reward being a cbow spec, because elves are mostly rangers. i would guess if the cbow had a spec, it would be something like the whips spec, more accurate and a crappy side effect, such as lowering agility. but hey, if it looks cool, im up for anything. check out my achievments

September 20, 200619 yr as far as melee training goes, whip with dds in inventory is the best strategy, but my favorite special attack is the magic short bow (makes me think i have a c bow :D )

September 20, 200619 yr I like the drag 2h spec, just not the weapon itself. And the spear spec, but again, weapon sucks. I think all the weps that have special attacks are the only ones that should have one. EXCEPT Rune claws and Throwing axes, I don't like the idea behind rune weapons with specs. I think the individuality of drag weps alone, then some which are a class of their own really (Granite maul, abby whip, excalibur). And mage bows, except there is the Seecrull... But rune, darklight, that Ivandis rod, and the bone ones.... WHY?
