omg college

I've started thinking more about college when I took the official SAT in 7th grade. Scored a 1030 which, apparently, is good for someone in 7th grade. Anyway, I'm in 9th grade now and I still think about college. I'd love to go to Penn State University. I'd actually prefer MIT but that may be setting hopes a little too high.

you should start thinking about college your whole high school years. Look for colleges that fit your needs. Make sure that your check the requirments of the college that you want to so your taking the right classes. Try to take your SATs your junior year so if you need to retake them you have time. Start looking at more details at applying to colleges near the end of your junior year leadding into your senior.

Yeah, I'm in ninth grade too, and I am thinking of college. I want to go to Georgia Tech for my undergrad (it doesn't matter if you go into a great IV leage school for undergrad as long as it's decent) under the Hope Scholarship. Btw, I'm registering for the PSAT this week \' .

Woot for procrastinating!

I actually waited untill about a week before my first semester of college started :|

Just filled out forms, and took tests beforehand because I had to.

I started thinking about college at some point in highschool. I didn't actually do anything about it until a week before winter classes started, after I was graduated from high school for 6 months.

Best decision of my life, waiting a little while to go to college. Saved up everything before hand, so no loans.

Im a freshman, at a private school so theyre all ready preparing us for the SATs as a Junior, with practive SAT tests, apparently 16/16 is good :-w , I will most likley go to UIC (University of Chicago), cant afford anywhere over $10,000 a year really.

Lol, I was thinking about applying there(currently a senior in HS) there were 2 people from my school that applied there last year. One had a 4.036 weighted gpa(or something like that) and a 1400-1550SAT(don't remember) and was denied.

I have a 3.0 and a 1220SAT(taking again in oct)

needless to say I'm not applying there anymore :uhh:

Of my original 5 choices I'm only applying to 2 based on chances to get in and am going to look for another 2-4 others to apply to

Man, I applied for college the summer before my senior year in high school. But then, I knew exactly where I wanted to go and exactly what I wanted to major in for a few years, so I had a head start. People that say, "I don't know where I want to go! How do I choose what to major in?" are funny.

the russians are the best! Hands down!

Started to think about on my 11th year as I had to pick what highschool courses I need to take to enter my prefered program.

Im a freshman atm, and I haven't seen any heavy work yet.

But my professors are starting to talk about essays... Im getting nervous.

The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak.

In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

I say don't worry too much about it so long as you remember to take the SATs. My parents forced me to apply to colleges at the beginning of senior year, but I didn't really start thinking about them until April when I had to decide which one to accept. And hey, I'm at an Ivy League now...
