what nintendo ds games should I get?

Featured Replies

Its been a while since I've bought a game. The last thing I bought was Brain age. I have metroid, mario kart, and feel the magic. Star fox doesn't look to good. I was thinking of mario 3 on 3 or maybe sonic, or the new super mario, Any recommendations?

Also when does the opera browser come out?

Pokepokepokepokemon?

I had Metroid, but for some reason it didn't tickle my fancy. (Sold it for store credit towards my Pokemon)

New Super Mario bros. was decently fun, it took me 2 days to beat it all though.. but the mini-games are pretty fun, but I sold it too for store credit towards pokemon.

And the Opera browser, I dunno yet it may be lingering around IGN or something somewhere.

I've heard mario 3 on 3 is a little touchy with it's controls. NSMB is good for a week of straight playing and then replaying for another month or so... :P

I played mario 3 on 3 and I didn't like it. Doesn't seem to flow well. I also played this game where you make food, it's pretty fun, but I wouldn't buy it. Trauma is something I might get, sicne I understand a lot of the scientific terms.

There's a new Zelda game coming out for the DS that has been designed with the touchpad in mind. I think there's also a new Advance Wars game planned, although it may have already been released and/or have a different title.

my suggestion is get a gamefly account and test the games you want. if you dont like them you can send them back and if you want to keep one you can buy it from gamefly.

yay for the internet! \'

Star Fox Command. Sole reason to buy a ds.

Nintendo handhelds are made for two things in my opinion...

Mario and Pokemon.

Notoriously Trollish.

Advance Wars: Duel Strike and Age of Empires: The Age of Kings look great in my opinion. So does Jump Ultimate Stars but I doubt that'll be released outside of Japan.

If you're not sure what to buy just wait a while for games that are really worth your money like Final Fantasy 3 or Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin which are coming out in a few months.

NEway, i have Super mario 64 DS, if u loved the N64 version, u'll love it. It's the original, plus Luigi, Yoshi, and Wario, and more stars, plus mini games. I love the game, beat it with all 150 stars.

Other i have is Starfox, at first i didnt like it, but once i got good w/ the controls, i love it now, plus there's a lot of different paths you can choose to take and all.

Now i'm looking for WarioWare twisted, wanted to get Touched but i read Twisted is better.

Worms: Open Warfare is a fun game but looks rubbish when you play it .

Advance Wars: Dual Strike and AoE: The Age of Kings are the two I was going to suggest. They are turn based strategy games that are really fun. I've put over 80Hrs into AW:DS already.

It's a whole lot easier and more intuitive with the wriststrap :P

I treated myself a DSL yesterday, and I figured I should get some games with it. So I bought New Super Mario (<3 great times) and Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. Especially the second one is really good so far! And I'm thiking of getting Kirby's Canvas Curse.
