I actually bought a pair of Rune Boots just a few minutes ago.

 

 

 

Before the update I was like "pmg watse of 200k111!!!11!!1 Climbtin pwnz str bons ftw!!"

 

 

 

So now I have no reason as to why I would use climbing over rune.

 

 

 

Payed 200k and 100 cooked sharks for them.

 

 

 

Though, that was a bit foolish because I'm not going to be training combat for a looooooong time. Currently I'm wrapped up in another task I already gave myself. *coughgettingeightyflerchingonlytolevelstwogocough*

 

 

 

Glough bought a scimitar in Yanille ftw.

Rune boots before the up-date sold for 150k if that, I sold many of pairs

 

today in World 2 for 200-220k. Not a big profit but lots better then the

 

150k or less I used to sell them for. Friend was online early this morning

 

when the up-date first came out and sold his for 300-350k, by late

 

afternoon they dropped to 200-250k. Just thought I would let you all

 

know the current prices as of now is at 200k.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yestarday the price was 120k.

 

 

 

I lost my rune boots yestarday, so am really mad right now.

Still gonna use climbing to pk with.

 

 

 

Although im am rather ticked that a TSG member lied to me and made me pay 350k for one, of all people who can you trust nowadays.

They were 400 k after update...as the day wore on the price dropped.

This is LAME, I mean seriously... The only reason to have climbing boots was for the +2 str and now they're worthless pretty much. Rune boots are METAL, how can they provide STRENGTH?! Climbing boots are made for CLIMBING where you need extra STRENGTH! But eventually the price will go back down for rune boots..

climbinb boots should have gotten a "respecitve" str boost as well.

Yea, I went to w2 fally after update and bought a pair. It was 220k at the time...I think their rising quick.

There is, Rogue's boots from the Rogue's Den minigame gives +2 ranged def, although everything is also just +2 def stats and no other bonus.

Warriors aren't overpowered. Rangers are the most overpowered... They can hit 80+ easily. Warriors you have to go really low hp (very risky) to hit that hard. Mages are the underpowered form of combat I would say.

 

 

 

I don't think you can't hit 80 with range... if you mean with cannons, cannons can't hit other players.

you *can* hit 80-90 with range, one of the new bolts does 20% of enemies health to them in damage and 10% to you, the only thing you'd hit 90 on would be jad in the caves tho, rangers can hit the kbd for like 57 with em too

 

 

 

unless your fighting one of the titans tho you wont hit anywhere near 50 with range, regardless cannon can hit constant 30s on many enemies so ranger is still balanced, only melee weap that does multi enemies is d2h's special which is lame

 

 

 

back on the original topic the new defence when aimin for a +2 str bonus helps a good deal on food, i'm powertrainin str to 99 for the new capes \
