October 20, 200619 yr Well, I just did: Dear Ethereal Numerator: As part of my deal to make peace between the Fremennik and the Moon Clan, I had to go through a series of tests. In one of the trials, you gave me several sequences of integers and told me to find the next few numbers in the series. This time, however, I have some sequences of my own that I'd like for you to solve: 1. Mersenne primes are rare prime numbers that have the form 2^p-1, where p is prime. Mathematicians know that 2^p-1 will yield a Mersenne prime for p = 2, 3, 5, 7, 13, 17, 19, 31, 61, 89, 107, 127, 521, 607, 1279, 2203, 2281, 3217, 4253, 4423, 9689, 9941, 11213, 19937, 21701, 23209, 44497, 86243, 110503, 132049, 216091, 756839, 859433, 1257787, 1398269, 2976221, 3021377, 6972593, 13466917, 20996011, 24036583, 25964951, 30402457, and 32582657. Would you happen to know any further exponents in this series? 2. Fermat primes, or primes of the form 2^(2^m)+1, are even more rare. Only m = 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 are known to yield a prime. Do you know if there are any other values of m that will yield a Fermat prime? Oh, and while you're at it, could you please try to (dis)prove the Riemann hypothesis or the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture, or maybe even solve the Navier-Stokes problem? Yours mathematically, Ixfd64. I'm such a geek, lol. ARENAscape: Baratus [AS] max hit: 166 with Moon Battle Hammer ixfd64 [AS] max hit: 116 with (untitled spell #2)
October 20, 200619 yr umm what were you writing?????!!!!!! :? :? :? :? :? :? :? N0valyfe an idol to some, a great player to many, and a true runescaper to all
October 20, 200619 yr You just copied that out of your math book while you were doing your math homework... :-w ^ Blog.
October 20, 200619 yr I'm sure Postie Pete would never understand that... :P "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
October 20, 200619 yr Author Actually, it's not copied from a homework problem, lol. Even experts don't know the answer to those. :P ARENAscape: Baratus [AS] max hit: 166 with Moon Battle Hammer ixfd64 [AS] max hit: 116 with (untitled spell #2)
October 20, 200619 yr Actually, it's not copied from a homework problem, lol. Even experts don't know the answer to those. :P If "experts" don't know the answer to those, then why are they called "experts"? :-s ^ Blog.
October 20, 200619 yr What the? Someone please translate the math speak into English for the numberically challanged among us. :P On topic: I have never sent in a letter. I lack the capability to think of a witty letter that would merit publishing. October 20, 200619 yr Really nice! And no, I have never written to Postie Pete, and I will probalby never do either. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak

October 20, 200619 yr I will be completely honest with you, I do not understand one word of what your letter said. Several of those words I haven't even seen before :XD: On the topic of the thread, I have never written to Postbag from the Hedge Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.
October 20, 200619 yr I tried to write to them, but my email was apparently blacklisted by the postbag address... The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.
October 20, 200619 yr This is what I wrote: Dear fellow zombies, I'd just like to take the opportunity to say "Hello." I've been playing for nearly 3 years, and you guys are the monsters I never get tired of. I have always wondered how you guys became infected, and why it never spread rapidly like in the movies. I LOVE zombies, and I love you guys! If I could I'd want to turn into a zombie. Your fan, Fgfuyfyuiuy0 P.S: Oh, I almost forgot. I made you guys an amulet of human speak. It allows you to talk telekenetically, since all your other organs are rotting. I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D

October 21, 200619 yr that was i guess pretty cool if you understand it where did u get it? anyway i taried to write once but i couldnt ge the email right so i stopped. Proud member of the Crimson Raiders1000 total lvl achieved on 4-17-07 -F2P
October 21, 200619 yr wow Ixfd64 you made me feel like a nerd. I actully knew what you were talking about. just so everyone knows i play runescape and read in my spare time that im not with my girlfriend.
October 21, 200619 yr Isnt the Etheral Numerator in dream land -in your characters dream-so isnt that sending a letter to your subconcius? Why do you need a postman for that anyway? Hed just give the letter back to you....
October 21, 200619 yr Hahah I found that quite funny! And yeah I wrote one once but It never got shown. Probably as it totally disproved the fact that the mossies in Varrock Sewers couldn't possibly of gotten into their unless they grew up there as babies. :?
October 22, 200619 yr i had writen one to Bob the Cat in September, but it never got published(sp?)

October 22, 200619 yr Shove your Reimann Theory, geometrically tri-sect an angle, then I'll be impressed. I've geometrically trisected and angle via folding... does that count? -masuma Woah, I never knew Tip.It had that sig. I'll keep it since it's cool (and to make people wonder what was in my sig).
