November 8, 200619 yr I think its because sometimes when you're mining in fally mine and you break your axe the scorpians attack you and you couldnt fight them with the handle before.

November 8, 200619 yr It works with both, axe and pick handles, thez are same kind like hammers but their strengt bonus is +1 or +0 i dont remeber. And they aren`t new weapons. They are there since pick or axe can loose head :)

November 8, 200619 yr I long knew that, just back you can't equip back the handle once you unequip it Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

November 9, 200619 yr yes i works with wc ax i always kill a dark wizard before putting the head back on. doing that for 86 lvls now Proud member of the Crimson Raiders1000 total lvl achieved on 4-17-07 -F2P
November 9, 200619 yr somewhere on the official forums, someone posted this story: He was chopping yews, and someone's dragon axe broke. So, the other person banked to empty his inventory to make room for the axe head, but the first guy snatched it up. Then he bought an axe handle for 30k, and was able to attach them for a cool d wc axe. "We will certainly not be gaining money or members with this update.
