metal dragons, do you change them or stick with them when assigned for slayer?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personally i do them, its the only time i get mage experience other than teleing or alching. If you keep them how do you fight them

I never Burthorpe Irons since they lowered the quantity and made the slayer mask. They're so easy to melee now, I can do a 56 task in 1 trip easily. I sometimes Burthorpe steels, sometimes I mage them, I tried to melee them once, that didn't really work out.

I never burthorpe bronzes (but I dont seem to get them very often at the moment). I tend to avoid irons/steels (I'll probably do them at 110 combat) as my attack doesnt seem to be high enough. I tend to melee them in full rune, dfire shield/pots, superset and 15-20 monkfish. This lasts me (including my prayer) about 20-25 dragons with no prayer pots. Some people prefer to wear proselyte and a have a pile of prayer pots. With a superset and plenty of antifire potions, you can stay down there for ages.

1 mistake with gear or lag can wipe out any potential profit you think you might get from them. Not time or cost effective at all.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some of the slayers in my guild think otherwise. But I myself skip all metal drags.

steel/iron killing can be fun sometimes, but i am never in the mood for it when i get them for slayer, but bronzes are pointless.

Depends on my mood, I usually skip em but if it's like 15~ of em and I have some leftover prayer pots I do them.

i miss the 150+ iron drag tasks; i maged those all the time. I melee irons now, though, and ~40 isn't enough

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i also mage steels when i get them, buthropeing is usually really frustrating and takes almost as long as a 15 steel dragon task

The only metal dragon that I have the courage to take on right now are the bronze ones. I don't usually Burthorpe them anymore. I do change all of the iron tasks that I get though. I am too much of a chicken to try them out. :P

Personaly I burthrope all metal dragon tasks. If they didn't requre you to use antifire pots I would do them. However they cost too much and I've never had much luck with them.

I burthope all of them, except bronze sometimes if i'm close to them, otherwise I get lazy and burthope them. Isn't worth it to waste money maging and get nothing back and little slayer xp when you could have burthope and gotten more in less time.

Since I have awful melee/mage stats I burthorpe anything I can't range easily :oops:

I always Burthoped them, cuz it's really slow slayer xp and if I would slay things like these too, it would take ages to get a bit o high lvl (only 60 now :oops: )

dont burthope anything- its a waste of time- use lunar spells :mrgreen:

Metal dragons are way too easy with black mask and 99attack+strenght, so i gladly do them. I only skip jungle horrors.
