Anyway, here's the idea.

 

 

 

From Lobster fishing, I find the biggest obstacle to levelling is dropping/selling your lobbies. It takes time, and is annoying. So, why not do something similar to essence running? If there was an official fishing world, runners could come, buy lobbies at a discounted price, and either run them to their bank or sell them to the general store. This would benefit the fisherman, getting some cash and emptying an inventory in a fraction of the time. It would also help out the runner, as the huge discount would allow for easy cash flow.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I mean think about it, if you didnt have to spend all that time running to and from the store, or dropping, you could fish say two or three inventories in the time it usually takes to do one. And since you're focused on levelling, who cares about the loss of profit?

Down point, you wont get a full inventory of lobs in the time the runners return. And I bet it wont be very succesfull as most people tend to powerfish at barbarian village and sometimes give food to the people who need it.

Fair enough, but if there was enough fishers... like there must be fifty people fishing lobs at most given points in time. One of them would have an inventory.

Nice idea. I think it will work, but first we need more lobster fishers. Maybe if we gather all that is spread out in diffrent world into one of the worlds? So we must decide a world. Any one got any suggestions?

I really like the sound of this, Im definitely up for this but wont runners be waiting a long time for their lobbies. Or you could do 10 lobs for 500gp so its quicker for runners

Rs2 virtually cut exp training time in half already, so upping the difficulty wouldn't bother me a bit.

Great idea, I wouldn't mind lobby fishing for a little profit. I usually drop it when I'm fishing and that takes forever. If you need a fisher, I'll be one :P :P

Most players who don't bank their own lobbies, usually drop them, so would it be better if they gave the lobbies away for free? You would get more runners, plus it saves alot of time for the fishers instead of dropping.

I deffinately wouldn't mind getting involved with this. I'd like to get 90 fishing to go with 90 cooking.

The air runners get paid because they bring more ess to the crafter. In this setup the runners get all the lobbies. All the pay they need.

the only way it would work is if it was on f2p and benefiting f2p members only. the fact that there are places where a bank is convienent to the fishing spot kind of makes the running and the selling of cheap lobsters obsolete. catherby is a perfect example in which its just beneficial to bank your own lobsters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BUT, if this were to happen on a f2p world, it would be highly beneficial to both the fisher and the runner. although, prices in lobsters might drop even further, which i guess isnt a bad thing.

I would definitely be in for this. Even though training in rs2 is pretty easy.

well...if they did have a fishing world, wouldn't it also be sensible to have a pure combat world as well...kinda like the wilderness except 1/2 of it is wilderness and 1/2 of it is gdz/dark wizards/rangers. that would probably go a little better than ur fishing world...no offense to any1 who likes to fish...because i kinda like to fish as well :thumbsup:
