Dalcyte Posted November 13, 2006 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Well i know everyone here is sooooo anxious for the winner of the 2006 world rock paper scissors championship in Toronto, and it's official, Bob Cooper, a 28 yr old british sales manager takes it home! This is a big win for bob and will really help his career as a player, he defeated 500 players in order to get this. Now, i know most people do not take this sport seriously, as they think it is all luck, but it isn't, there is a lot of psychology involved and a lot of mental thinking. Just read the strategy guide and you'll know what i mean, there's a ton of strategy. You're right, i won't debate that this is a sport, you could say a game...but a time waster? Wow, I bet all Canadian people hate me now. Aha! But curling is a sport. I've tried it, It's not as easy as it looks. I've been in hockey for a long time, and I still had a lot of trouble with it. It has everything to do with luck and nothing with brain stimulation. Though, I'm sure there are at least a few intelligent people in the world who can, like in poker, predict the game behavior of their opponents based on the movement of their arms, eyes, how they speak, how they smile etc. and it could *possibly* work in RPS.
