Runescape Items: Not Applicable to Real Life? *gasp*

Featured Replies

I was thinking the other day.. what if someone were advertising Runescape items in real life? I don't think it'd go down very well. Like, for example:

If you're about to die, slip this on to instantly be whisked away to safety!

Uhm.. I've got more but don't feel like/ have the patience for making more pictures -.-

-Eating whole lobsters in one bite?

-Killing people (NPCs and PKing) and being rewarded for it!

-Running around with a disassembled cannon in your backpack..

-A colored cardboard crown costing more than any other *functional* item.

-Not being able to burn a certain log until you "learn" (lvl up) how to do it.

-Repeatedly pickpocketing the same person over and over again and all they do is whack you in the head and yell..

Any more? Please, if you're thinking about suggesting "MAGIC! That's not real!" Don't.. do the less obvious or less overused ones.

Isn't there a topic about this already? :-s But what the hell

Walking around with a mid-evil flail, whaling your friends with it. :)

Not really sure if there is a topic 'bout it... haven't seen one if there is.

But ya, true about the flail. But really, just any RS weapon would be kinda odd to walk around with nowadays. Unless you're roleplaying or something :-w

Meh..

There's nothing wrong with either of these two.

An item can be extremely valuable in real life due to its rarity. This is mostly seen in paintings and antiques.

Also, you can't do something that takes skill if you have never been taught how to do it in real life. (You can't cook a lobster well if you have never been taught before).

I was talking about logs specifically, not in general. I see what you're getting at though. But it doesn't take skills to strike a match/tinderbox on a log you haven't done before..

you could try... i mean lobsters are usually cooked alive in boiling water not over a fire.

you think about it some of the weaker things in runescape pose more of a threat then others. i mean if you saw a daganoth king in real life it would probably look like a dolphin walking and really who is scared of dolphins? but a swarm of bees... oo man

i think what you want to say is "real life isn't applicable to runescape" :D

Its a game ..but oh well everyone compares everything with anything (such as RS to WoW)

cat not needing water? no bathrooms anywhere to be seen :shame: ? invincible(dying repeatly)? Giants that stand around ll the time? Where the heck is the hospital (lol) to give birth to so many NPCs per second :-s ? plus many more...im quite an expert on this  but anyway its a game...so...oh and plus u cant catch real lobsters or sharks or swordfish from sooo close to the shore. the only reasonable place for fishing those kind of stuff is the fishing platform in the middle of what sea?

Barrows Rewards: Ahrims hood, Karil's Coif, half key x 6, D med, torags legs, veracs flail

Killing things with an abyssal whip. Sure, get smacked with one and it'll hurt... but if you're wearing armor 10 times as strong as steel... how's it going to kill you?
