well, i was just wondering, with all these people talking about quitting rs

 

 

 

because they were failing classes and stuff, assuming your in school, what sort of grades do you get? (for me, gpa 4.8 freshmen ain highschool)

So far I know that I am getting 70% in Biology and 73% in Chemistry, both university courses (Meaning I need them to get into university) I just need to find my English and my Peer tutoring mark.

I expect a lot of arrogant and ignorant(WC) underclassman coming in here to brag about their 4/5.0 "GPA"s. Most of the time this shows nothing because everyones school systems are so different.

All A's, with the possibilty of some B's. But a C in Trig/Pre-Calc. :XD:

if your in a honors or ap class and your grade is a 94%+ you get an H which is higher then an a (lol gym doesent offer a H) 5.0 is highest possible

I'm on a 3.82 cumulative gpa thanks to a screw up in first semester of my first year. Never really recovered from that despite only failing one course since.

A's and B's normally... except in Math... I get C's there. >_

I have a 3.62 right now - 3 A's and 2 B's. One of my A's is a 4 hour class which is why it's .62 instead of .6 for those adding up the math.

Freshman year I got all A's and B's. Now I'm in my sophomore year and I've been slacking lately so mostly B's and C's. Ugh, I've gotta get those back up to help lower insurance on my car and so I don't get yelled at

What is this GPA thing? Why is it so important?

I just got a first quarter grade report and I have 5 B's and 1 A.

 

 

 

I'm satisfied with it but I'm hoping to bring some of the B's up to A's.

 

 

 

I dont really play Runescape anymore, so Its not much of a distraction.

4.0 all through high school. So far at the university I have all A's except a B in Applied Calculus. It's going to be rough getting that first B at the end of the semester and seeing my GPA drop down to an abysmal 3.69. College is a slap in the face :P

Sure you only get one chance at life, and you should do whats fun, but you wont have fun when either you are living with your parents when you are older, or you are out on the streets cause you cant get a good job.

I'm a freshman. I'm susposed to have fun, hang out with friends, party etc. Sure, you say "only 4 years until college" whatever I've always been a last minute guy. When I turn 15 I'm getting a job anyways, but grades don't effect me much.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway I just wanna keep skating (I skateboard) to see if I can make a career out of it. I started skating a bit late, but I've progressed fairly good for the ammount I've been skating. So I hope to get sponsered. Skating is what I love so thats what I want to do. I don't need an "education" to get where I want to go. :roll:

I'm trying this year to make at least a B in Algebra II. I've always been a C student in math. Other than that, I usually make all A's.
