Sam, not having good grades isn't a problem, I know lots of people who've gotten through and done very well in life even though they struggled at school. But it seems like you're attitude is just lazy, which is fine if you've got a family business that you can go into and paid to sit around and not do much, but in the real world, that's the wrong attitude mate. you are simply taking rare cases and using them to your advantage. i will admit, i have learned more when i was working 3 jobs at one time then i have ever learned in school. you learn much more when you are actually performing a job than sitting in a classroom memorizing useless drivle. but employers DO NOT CARE. my dad knows a lot more than any programmer with a college education where he works (he was in the military for 10 years and did not go to college) but b/c a little piece of paper says so, he knows "less" then them, deeming him a lower salary. the only thing that keeps his salary in competative range with these "useless college kids" as he calls them is his superior resume.

There are countless others out there who drop out and only earn slightly over minimum wage. You're pointing out the improbable. You can do that to basically everything.
