November 14, 200619 yr I don't get all F"s. Just in a few classes. I'm not going to fail the year, taking as this is only the 2nd semester? Fools. calling us fools with your attitude on grades is very ironic. sure you have more semesters to pull it up...but an F counts as a 0...and you need certain courses to graduate = summer school to make it all up which = less of that fun you talk about Lol buddy, I still got time to pull them up. An f doesn't count as a 0..I live in america..Where do you live? What do you mean 0. This is dumb I'm done argueing about this. I do what I please mmk? I don't need people I don't know on the internet to lecture me about the way I live my life. If you're gonna pride yourself off your failures, expect a response; you'll look back on this when you start applying for colleges (and realize how limited your choices will be) and kick yourself in the [wagon] for it. In order to be successful in something like skateboarding, you're gonna need to be the best of the best, so have fun with that.
November 14, 200619 yr I get F's. Why? I don't give a damn. I do whats fun in life, you only have 1 chance to live. Although I might have to step it up and get D's (aka doing homework) so I don't bloody fail 9th grade. Sure you only get one chance at life, and you should do whats fun, but you wont have fun when either you are living with your parents when you are older, or you are out on the streets cause you cant get a good job. I'm not saying getting all F's is good, I got mostly C to D and a few A's in school, which is not very "academically qualified", but I can still live on my own and fortunately I have enough money to daytrade stocks as a profession which also leaves me with a lot of spare time for gym and other activities. Not everybody has to study for 15 years to become a lawyer to 'stay away from the streets'. (Heck, even if you're a plumber, in those 15 years you will earn ove $300,000 after taxes and the other guy has no job income for a large chunk of his life) I don't discourage anybody from studying, quite on the contrary, but if you have a bit of knowledge about how the world really works (and how actually money is the only thing that matters in maintaining a standard of living), you will see there are numerous ways to go on about life and earning money etc. without having to resort to illegal activities. P.S. I quit playing runescape about 4 years ago. :)

I can honestly say that how I achieved in school is nothing compared to how it effects me outside of school. Amusingly, it's what I have done away from my education that has benifited me the most.
November 14, 200619 yr hmm the teachers are just starting to write reports now but last time i got a report card it was mostly Cs and Bs, i failed french of course, i meen who can pass it almost 2 years of french and i no how to say about....6 sentecnces thanks to mitsubishi64 who made this sig

November 14, 200619 yr 8th Grade LA - A Algebra I - B Science - B+ History - B French - A I always get honors. Definetly a lot of room for improvement, especially in Algebra and History (As I usually get A+'s in math the past years; but this is Algebra after all; and I usually get nothing less than an A in SS/History =\)
November 14, 200619 yr Math - B+/A English - B+/A Science(s) - A+/A* ICT - B+ Food Tech - B+ Geography - B Science = GOOOOOOD.
November 14, 200619 yr How do you have a GPA of over 4.0? French: 99% Euclidean Geometry: 92% Computer Applications: 97% Lunch: N/A L.A.: 90% Biology: 94% Last period: 88% 9th grade Sometimes AP/Honors classes count for more than a 4.0 I'm in gifted. That's higher than honors. The only AP class offered in 9th grade is Geography. Gifted doesn't mean anything ;) It's harder/better than honors. No, that is not an opinion. Anyone can get into honors with an 80 average. You have to take a test to get into gifted. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

You meant zero towards your GPA? I was thinking of more like 0 as in ZERO CREDIT in that class. What does that mean? It means that if you keep it up, you won't graduate. Good job aspiring to be a high-school drop-out. ...

AP/Honors classes can be worked toward instead of relying on intelligence as much and give extra points towards your GPA. (I was in the gifted program also, but quit because it just wasn't working out, being the only person in my school I had to have someone come in from 40 miles away for 30 minutes a week =\ ) I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.
November 14, 200619 yr I just got my first quarter grades- all A's. I just made a A in my advanced math class, 90.5%. 4.0 gpa. November 14, 200619 yr I agree with that mediocre study thing. I don't see the point to get high 90s when I'm not interested in getting 200k/yr kind of salary when I get older. I'll be happy at 75k and with my wife, that's more than enough for my needs. No, I'm not trying to justify my dumbness (for the exams I know my marks of, I got a 96 on business and 92 on english). I just don't have the studious character in me anymore to work hard all 10 months of the year. Although if I'm in a non-independent study school, I'd probably have higher marks. Oh, and the only reason I bother to get above 80 is because that's the minimum grade to get into the honour roll. It makes my parents happy for some reason. Also because with mid-80s, I won't have a hard time getting into the university programs I want. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

November 15, 200619 yr I get As in everything but math, in which I am getting a B. I've always sucked at it. And I've never studied since the third grade. I'm a sophomore at the moment. I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

His $300,000 house doesn't even have have air conditioning. I'm not sure what you were implying, but in monetary terms, $400,000 a year is a rather low salary. I even personally know 2 people who earn more than that without (obviously) being presidents. There are tens of thousands of americans, if not hundreds of thousands, that earn more than the president. Do you need it? No. You can't be poor in this world if you live on even $100k a year (or $75k like ShadowFaxPZ mentioned, combined with his wife's salary probably over $100k). In some poor countries, people may not earn that amount in their entire lives. In the USA you can still get a very, very nice apartment with that kind of a salary. Living under the poverty line is considered as living on under $1 dollar a day. If you grew up in a western country you can't understand how little that is, that's true poverty. Well, do the math. It's less than $400 a year, some businessmen spend that amount or even much more on a single dinner with a friend. There are wealthy people that spend 1000 times that amount on a useless diamond to present to somebody as a gift.

See where I am, AP (which also means Advanced Placement) is a college-level course with an exam towards the end of the year which can get you college credit depending on your score. Algebra II is not a college-level course cause it's simple math. Also, I think the order may be different in math where you are from other schools, cause instead of Algebra --> Algebra II we have Algebra --> Geometry --> Algebra II. Simply put, I think your classes are honors/gifted, not AP
