JustTone Posted November 22, 2006 Share Posted November 22, 2006 Today, I was in a McDonald's shop playing runescape on a labtop, when a man in a BUSINESS SUIT comes up to me and says, "Hey, good luck at barrows." We talk for a few minutes and he actually plays runescape! The thing is, that runescape is around us everyday, and you might not suspect that the people who are least likely to play runescape, do. In fact, Drew Carey even plays runescape! What do you guys think about this? You (JustTone) are trying to make something deep that isn't such in any way at all lol. Runescape doesn't "revolve around us everyday." Try something like "The game is so huge, there's no telling who'll be a 'Scaper?" Saying the game itself is around us everyday is incorrect- saying players are around us is :) . I play in the computer lab because I don't have a computer of my own and people will come up to me when I am playing to ask what it is about. Its cool when you'r talking to someone new and tell them that you play Runescape, and they do it too. It makes it all seem more realistic. I know theres a group of geeks in my year that constantly talk about their stats and their only combat lvl 50 - 60. Me and my friends are combat levels 70 - 85 and we only ever bring it up if we're bored and got nothin else to talk about. Still i would be curious to see who they were but i wouldn't walk up to em and ask their levels and whatever its bad for street cred man -.- I think merchanting is extinct....
