November 25, 200619 yr It seems Hunter is a hard skill to level once you get high, It's been 4 days and the highest is 86, but he has to get 3X the exp he's already got to reach 99. I know that most of the less recent skills took less than the likelyhood of 12 days Hunter shows. So, looks like Hunter is a damn hard skill to level :| Currently not active on RuneScape.
November 25, 200619 yr Not nessicarly. At the rate that the top players are getting the hunter experience, skills such as slayer, runecrafting, and even combat will be much slower to level starting at level 1. I think that hunter is a moderatly fast skill to level, although im only 31. Mining, smithing, crafting, woodcutting ALL would take longer then the rate that hunter is going at the moment.
November 25, 200619 yr yeah, unless you get like 5 spots at black salamanders its gotta be up there with farming and runecrafting :? I support jerk173 going for 99fish and cook! Do you? Click here!
November 25, 200619 yr Author Oh sorry i didn't mean every skill, i meant like Herblore, Slayer, Construction and maybe Farming? The most recent skills, i know its quicker than combat, agility or runecrafting Currently not active on RuneScape.
November 25, 200619 yr You think slayer is quicker than hunting? In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
November 25, 200619 yr i think all we need is some motivation =P like when i was hunter lvl 1 at the snow place i always dreamed of cathching one of those cool sabre tooth kyatts and wear the fur around the place. well my goal has reached in just 1 day of hunting \ now i get exp from chinchompas! my motivation: Show off the "new weapon" at cwars plus confuse your enemies there :XD: (some of my targets activate the mage protection prayer as the hit effect is about the same as fire blasts)
November 25, 200619 yr i figure if you apply yourself at the black lizards (which give about 350xp each i've heard) you could probabaly catch at least 100 an hour.. if nobody else is there. 35kxp an hour = about the same training time that a combat stat such as attack would take training normally. Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh? Always buying: Watermelon seeds, 2K each. Strawberry seeds, 800 each. Contact Via PM on forums.
November 25, 200619 yr i got to lvl 10 in an hour so it is one of the slower skills Click here to see my goals and achievements thread

November 25, 200619 yr Right now, you can get about 50k an hour at a moderate level, with a max being 70-75k with 5 traps at 80. If you hunt for 3 hours a day getting 65k exp per hour.. 200k a day 65 Days to 99 Of course, players will hunt for more than 3 hours a day. So I'm guessing the fastest 99 will be in about 45 days. RSN: Jettrider
November 25, 200619 yr Very, very nolife. Your sig looks like the nolifer in the South Park WoW episode =P~ I think the reason is that many people nolifed the first few days, and take it easier now... And yes, hunting is very easy.
November 25, 200619 yr Red salamanders are MAX 60k per hour. Same with spotted kebbits. And its very crowded. It's really fast at low levels though. 99 Crafting Blog
November 25, 200619 yr I know that most of the less recent skills took less than the likelyhood of 12 days Hunter shows. Uhm the only one that was super quick was construction. Farming, slayer, and runecrafting, all took far longer. Don't say you "know", unless you really "know". IIRC, not a single skill has ever had 99 achieved after it's release within 12 days, except for construction.
November 25, 200619 yr How long did slayer take? :-k I'm guessing by this point people would be in the late 70s? Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
November 25, 200619 yr How long did slayer take? :-k I'm guessing by this point people would be in the late 70s? If I remember right, just 85 took over a month.
November 25, 200619 yr its not hard at all, its just very crowded EXACTLY, thats the main problem with Hunter right now. Way to much people, when the hype goes down a little, there will be more spots. So no stealers, not so crowded that you can't even click on the animal and its gone. But in a week or 2 it will be less crowded, and nice to train. And remember: cheap, not buy-able, available for everyone and FUN :D However there isn't any good xp after 71 :-k so that could be a little problem, but I'm sure Jagex will add some things next week. Gooooooo Hunter Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.
November 25, 200619 yr Hunter is fast because you don't need the materials to do things with. Ye you need rope and a small net but you can stay there like combat. But the exp is very large and you get them so often. Runecrafting is an example of how you need p esses, plus the walking. Also construction needs money to get all the material (except clay). Hunter overall is easy and a fun skill, currently lvl 57.
