In my school, if you shoot someone with a rubber band, you get kicked out of school for 5 days :shock: Does that seem a little strange? And if any of the people who work at my school see you pointing a rubber band at someone, you get kicked out of school for 7 days..... :notalk: I think that the teachers are over reacting a little to much. How do you feel about this?

Someone in my school shot an elastic band at someone, it hit them in the eye. That person had to go see an optomitrist and may need to wear glasses from now on. The band-shooter got suspended for a week or two.

yea, this sums it up. of course its fun, but once you ruin someone's eyesight for the rest of their life, its not. The school would have to take responsibility for the damage done, so its their rules.

I found it to be one of the many annoyances in school. Five day suspension would really cut down on it a lot.

I think its stupid that people use rubber bands for stuff. You go to school to learn. If you need to flick stuff with rubbers bands or w/e, go out on your break and do that, or dont go to school at all.

I dont do it, i just did it that one time when it came back at me and hit me. I'm actually saying that its not cool. I got hit with one that had a medal thing on it in the back and i seriousley stopped breathing for a second. I didnt get a chance to see the person but i would have told someone about it. On my back there is a red mark.
