i respect both, in different ways. If i had to pick one, I'd go with fire cape because ppl seem to hold combat skills in high regard in this game. But I also respect skill capes because they are the culimnation of planning and effort.

I don't respect anyone ONLY because they have a fire cape or skill cape.

It would depend on which 99 Cape it is for me. Off course theres much more important and personal things than that a person needs to have before earning my respect

In that case, It would be the skill cape but only depending on what skill it is. I would respect skill capes in RC, Prayer, Slayer, Agility and Thieving.

I respect most skill capes over a fire cape, save maybe a few easily buyable skills.

Acheivement cape > fire cape.

deffinatrly the 99 skill cape, (combat skill cape) if a lvl 49 can get fire cape, then it's not that hard.

Either type of cape impresses me a little. Each kind takes atleast some work and dedacation to achieve. Just some (Such as 99 Slayer cape, Fire cape on a lower level) are "more" of an achievement then others (99 Fletching/Cooking, as they're easily bought). They're still impressive since you took the time to get the skill that high, just not as much with certain ones as they aren't that hard to raise.

I respect skill capes more. 13m is alot of xp. I'm realizing this on my way to 99 fm. No matter the skill, its still alot of xp.

If it's a skill that can't be bought, I'd want that more. 99 farming, slayer, agility? Definitely. Fletching or cooking? I'd still want it, but sooo many people have it, that I'd take the fire cape.

It depends which skill cape you're talking about, a fire cape is more respectable than a cooking or fletching capes, but not more respectable than a prayer or agility cape for example.

Yes, but how much exp do you think would be neededin the combat stats to fight Jad? A few mil, where as a skill cape requires 13mil, which one is harder?

Because he would say that respect is not earned by levels, it is eared by your personality. And i completely agree with him.
