speedofsound
I know all of you have some sort of goal. Something your striving for, something in certain cases, you will do anything to achieve. I know what mine is...I want to know yours. My biggest goal in life is to help my mother to retirement. My mother works so hard and is so selfless that I just feel that she deserves the best. She always finishes what she starts and she works very hard just to maintain her house. At her current job she has a slim chance of retirement. I want to change that. I feel that it is my dutie to her to get a good, well paying job. Because of this job I will be able to provide her financial aide so she can retire. I will feel horrible and rotten if I cannot achieve this. This is a very, very important goal of mine. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." Viktorkrum77
My goal is to live some where in Europe. I'd love to study Scandinavian Studies and be a translator of English, Swedish, Norwegian and/or Danish, and Finnish. And then maybe be a tour guide or something in Sweden maybe. But deffo something fun, and that meets my interests. Another goal of mine is to travel at least once, to every single country in the entire world. I know, ambitious of me. Me doing staff. Auberean
To stay alive as long as possible, the rest kind of comes along with it. Guest TaDaraCampbell
Goals would include: Atleast riding in a Ferrari once. Visit Venice, Italy. And make it quite big in life, I understand that material possessions are not a good goal, but there should be nothing against me trying to achieve such in life, all while keeping humility in mind. If I ever do strike big, I have decided to give a few million to my parents and close friends... even as I type this I think "what was I thinking putting millions" but if I've learned anything in life, it is to shoot for a high goal and you may just land close. Also, I'd like to, and will, stay a Christian. To stay alive as long as possible, the rest kind of comes along with it. Ehh.. if God wanted to take me away right now I would allow him without discontent.
jjrox32
My goal is to go bungie jumping. Nah, just kidding. Although I do wanna go bungie jumping, here are my real goals (they might seem a little extreme, but w/e): Graduate from Harvard medical school. Become a diagnostician ( like Dr. House :P ) or a surgeon. Make a decent amount of $ a year, and build up an ultimate gaming pc down in my basement ( if I ever get married, I'll have to build up this little pc beforehand; I'm tricking this out with an awesome monitor, gaming keyboard, gel padded mouse, and a top-of-the-line pc, with $300 dollar graphic chips, an awesome networking card, and a blazing internet connection, totally to about $10,000). I've got about a 1/10 chance of this happen, but hey, I can dream can't I?
deloriagod
The biggest thing I want in life is to find my one true love. Other than that I'd like to obtain my bachelors degree in photography from the University of Iowa and get a good job. Possibly have children. And one that just for fun.. I'd like to ride every roller coaster in the world at least once (probably not going to happen but it would be fun to try :) Internet Marketing For Newbies

tripsis
My goal is to save up enough money with my boyfriend to afford a couple acres of remote land in Alaska (it's usually ~$10k per 10 acres, sometimes more, sometimes less). Once we have our land, we'll build our own log cabin, getting almost all the materials ourselves. Then live a quiet, humble life with our three future Alaskan Malamutes  - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
knives669
Speedofsound: That is a truly great goal. One that I hope you achieve. ^_^ I would like to do well in school and in college so that I can get into medical school and become a doctor. I've always wanted to get into medicine. While I do that, I'd like to keep my relationship with my boyfriend stable and hopefully marry him in the future. :D After that, I want to make sure that he achieves all of his dreams. Then, I'd like to travel the world a bit, see new people, new places. I'm not really sure at the moment on whether or not I want to have children. I'd also like to be able to support my parents. They've done well to raise me throughout my life and I'd like to spoil them in their golden years. :) I'd like to surprise them by buying them a new car, maybe a house, or a vacation. ^_^

issy2
My goal is to live some where in Europe. Who would've guessed? My aims for life, including minor ones - - Get a book published - Meet a couple of people on the forum (feel free to msn me, guys! is[Caution: Jagex Rule Violation][email protected] - Reach a professional standard in ballroom, latin and argentine tango before the age of 28. - Climb to Macchu Picchu's Sun Gate. (Inspired by my mum, who did this just before my 9th birthday. My mum is one of the best in the world, is always encouraging me to do my best, and helping along the way. I've always felt I could talk to her about anything because she is such a supportive, wonderful person. One of my most important role models - Mum!) - Do London Bridges every year until the age of 18. - Do the London Brighton before I'm 15. - Learn how to use my dad's camera and recording stuff. In terms of careers, the three (very ambitious) things I'd like to do would be, an author, film director, or professional dancer.

dusqi
..Nothing too big.. - Live to at least 100. - Become very rich, and be able to use my lobbying power to change things for the better. - Have a loving wife and family. - Give something back to humanity in order that my life hasn't been pointless. Why not have it all? :) For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.
speedofsound
A lot of these goals are very ambitious and noble. I enjoy reading them. I'd also like to remind everyone that I would like them to post serious goals. I would really appreciate it. Thanks! You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. Guest AshKaYu
Now that I think about it, those goals were all too short term. I want to find my true love and have her/him love me back, I want to help bring business to Newfoundland, I want to go to Vancouver or New York, and act. I love acting, and I really love The Phantom of the Opera or Hamlet so I'd love to act in one of them, even though I'd have to be a waiter to support myself. And meet someone who I've known online for over half a decade in real life, that would be awesome. And I want to learn an instrument, preferably guitar or saxophone. And study at NYU or UBC! I want to go to those places. And visit Ireland! I also want to read every single book considered a classic and learn how to analyze books and art better. mad4u689
I don't really have a goal in life; I haven't really given it meaning. Hmm. Ape
My "dream" would be to play in the NBA at the age of 18, whilst in my spare time- be a games tester for a high-end company. But, as we know; that's barely possible. Here's my long term, almost realistic goals: - Finish GCSEs with atleast 8 A-A*s. (Just done my Mocks with a few A*s and quite a few A's) - Go to A-Level Maths and Sciences - Finish with atleast A's. - Go to Med-School. - Do well in Med-School. - Travel the world being a doctor, in a specialist area. - Keep most of the friends I have now, so every once in a while we could hook up a LAN and game. Obviously, there are many more complexities within that, but I could go on all-day trying to express them. -Mitch New sig to come!
