Fadfdfd
THIS IS KILLING ME. Back when I was...4, about 9 years ago. I played my first video game - Super Mario 64 for Nintendo 64. I fell in love with this game. It was hard and long and fun! All those creative levels. This has been killing me all night. I ended up getting ~112-3 stars, If I'm correct. Then I stopped playing. What happens once you get 120? Do you unlock the cannon outdoors? Can you shoot to the top of the castle? What's the "room" at the end like when you shoot up there? Do you have pictures? Thanks! Star_Fox
when u defeat the third bowser, he'll say a different line, its been imformed at gamefaqs. but u can play a newer version on the DS which can contain 150 stars
Caxis
Spoilers... You do unlock that cannon outside and you can fire yourself on the roof. Yoshi is up there and he gives you a LOT of 1-ups, and bowser says something different. End Spoilers.
Buckeyemange
When you get all stars, a cannon opens, and you can shoot to the top of the castle. I believe Yoshi is there, and he gives you 100 lives and the wing hat. The hat can be used any time. Don't quote me. The GES, the only clan ruled by a Goat. "How did it start? Fadfdfd
Haha no way, I just wondered that recently... I got to like 105, that monkey still has my hat... Remember, you could try to get it back..and you'd fall over the waterfall , then you'd have to start over. One of the greatest levels, at least for me, was where you touched the diamonds to raise and lower the water. There was like an underground city. You got to it by jumping over the cage. I loved that level. I was talking about this with Kayla over MSN.
deloriagod
but u can play a newer version on the DS which can contain 150 stars Ugh! I've got 148 stars and I can't find the last 2! It just keeps taunting me :wall: Super Mario 64 wasn't near my first video game.. It was the second one I played for N64 (first was 007 :) but I'd played a lot of NES before I got a N64 ;) I was horrible at video games back then.. I think I got 72 stars, got bored, and gave up to play outside :P Internet Marketing For Newbies

rushrock
Super Mario 64 was one of my first video games. I'm absolutely in love with it! I've only got about 115 stars, but when you get 120, you blast yourself on the roof and Yoshi will be there. He'll give you a bunch of 1-ups, and I think something else happens... God I love this game! :
Fadfdfd
I really loved this game. I'm sorry I sold it  The only stars I had to get left were Easter Eggs and 100-Coin Prizes..

Fadfdfd
My biggest victory, so to speak, was getting that Star on top of the clouds, where you need to fly from cloud to cloud. If you don't, you drop from the sky into the water. Hands down, my greatest star-victory EVER! :D I always loved capturing the rabbit to get a star
timmay929
I'm pretty sure I got all the stars, because I remember the cannon coming out of the ground by that little lake outside the castle and you shoot yourself up there and Yoshi is there. Reading this makes me wanna go out and buy N64 and play this. 122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

crimsonking
I got it right when the N64s came out and me and a friend teamed up on it, we got to the final Bowser but never could beat him, we came close many times, but never beat him. I just got it for DS for Christmas, I have 30 stars so far but can't for the life of me find how to free Luigi. ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~

unknownmasterofnothing
I really don't like super mario 64. Mario doesn't work in 3d for me. Especially if he can only jump.

zxyiz
In the original N64 version (not DS doesn't work) you can get on top of the castle via a glitch. Yoshi won't be there, but you can still get the hat. I've done this many times, just try searching on google video or youtube for some vids of it being done. runepaladn
So..... Judging by all of these posts, I take it that I should download this game for the Wii... It's basically the same thing, with a little bit different control scheme and it's only $10.. So is that worth it???
