I recently found out my pure had been tapped and someone hacked him. They made him a member so now they have transaction id numbers to use as a recovery. They also had him long enough to change the recovery. I can get him back because My transaction ids are older and i know first passwords and all, but he keeps using his info to get him back every time jagex gives him to me. What should be done?

Ouch..this is tough..Keep messaging Jagex, tell them the owner is not the creater of the account and keep trying to get it back...Hopefully after long enough, you'll get it back, forever.

hmm get the account locked, and check your comp for viruses i guess :uhh:

tell jagex the first password ever used and the IP from which the account was made. I once had my main stolen, they made me a member too :) but I got it back with the details above...

I had the same problem with my main "MonniK". I gave Jagex my recov and password and trans ID and still they ignore me! Now i am making a new guy :pray:.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I asked them for IP Logs but they didnt give me reply. I sended them my transactions to jagex with my user name.

just keep trying what your doing..send some messages to jagex..and if all else fails..get the account locked to prevent him from using it

I won't hurt to try right? the best you can do is provide them with your transactions IDs and your earliest passwords, pluss pretty much anytihng you can use to tell them it was your account. It won't get any better if you don't try, right?

Brothers account got hacked, we sended in our IP and old recoverys & passwords, after 2 days we got a message back they changed password to our recovs, but the hacker got the account banned, so were waiting to fix this.

It would be a good idea if you know when you started the account and maybe if you had a bank pin your first bank pin. Thats how I got back my account.

This happened to me with my old main. The hacker and I recovered the account back and forth for a bout a month. I sent in recoveries and messages to Jagex with my IP and when I started the account and dates when I achieved certain things, and it never worked. I eventually just gave up and moved on and created a new account. Good luck, and keep trying.

Start a new account is what I'd do, and try to remove all suspicious programs from your computer.

Nuh uh , cable IP stays the same untill you request a new one at your provider.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the other hand ,dial up is a different case. But my brother send in our IP and they said they matched with the creation IP *2 years ago* and thats the main reason my brother got back his account.

That doesn't make much of a difference because the IP still traces itself to the same computer. Unless you moved or something.

Download a free Spyware cleaner, and scan your computer man...most likely you have a keylogger and when you change your pass the hacker can just see what you changed it to and "re-hack" you so changing your pass is useless untill you clean your comp :)

Sooner or later the account is going to get locked due to all the suspicious recoveries. Then maybe you can get it for good.

Mine is the same, then other times it will be something like GWFIWSQ or something like that. Dial up users ftw.

oh boy! that happened to me! 2 times it got hacked, the 2nd time it got turned to members, and used for some kind of macro or autoing, gave me 2 black marks as well. i left my account alone for 2 months, good break, didnt want to start over again, i checked on highscores, to see if the hacker has gotten up my skills,oh! he has, alot! then, for some reason, it got left alone, no activity, i checked on my friends account, he always sent a private message, every time my stolen account went online, my good old friend sent some er...very rude messages. but the hacker stopped, and nows my chance to 'hack' my account back! it worked, with 20 or so days of membership, around 3 sets of rune, 1,7k lobsters, 1.6k mihril and iron arrows, and a whole set of mime and lederhosen, as well as, IMO, vast amount of cash(300k, LOL) there were alot of anti-dragon sheilds, and so i asume he used my account for green dragon autoing, or green-dragon-autoer-pkers.this was at the time of those new bots, and i figured he was one of the stupid macros dudes using my account. :notalk:

cable and dsl change every time you power rotate your modem (unplug the power then plug it back in)

yeah, but this char is a lot better than my main :P. I can get him back, what scares me if i go for 99 str and he hackes me and takes my stuff in the long run. I got a bank pin now, but i guess i cant wear anything when i log out.
