I believe you know how crazy drivers are out in CA. :P I don't recommend driving down CA Highway 5 until you're more experienced, even though it's a big straight road. Speed limit is 75 there, but people go up to 100 sometimes. :| :shock: (I hate that highway so much...) I failed my driving test the first because of a bike lane. Passed it on the second time with 5 errors (mostly incomplete stops, though I swear I stopped completely). My left tires were on the Double Yellow lines and he kept yelling at me to move left 'cuz I was too close to the curb. :? It's because people who are used to being in the Drivers seat, are used to being far from the edge of the road. However, I passed my practical first time (woohoo!!!). My instructor gave me a valuable piece of advice just before I took my test: Drive so that the examiner feels his children would be safe in your car. I never liked having my permit because I had to drive with my dad and he liked to yell at me.. Now I've got my license and he still likes to ride with me and yell at me -.- My Dad isn't even allowed in my car!!! : Anyway, wishing you the very best of luck.
