Today I helped a brand new player, tought her lots of stuff, did a quest with her, it felt really good lol. I advise you to do this too, I told her NOT TO BEG too.

I think theres too many people complaining about the noobs, instead of complaining, DO SOMETHING! Go help a new player out, instead of letting him/her actually become a noob.. Be patient with them too. :)

I agree with you about the noobs. We all hate beggars right? Why not teach them about a skill or two that would help them earn their own money. Less noobs, more smart people :D

Ultra Unholy,

Hearted Machine...

Found that part very helpful over my years in runescape.

This is kind of like that "Big Brother/Big Sister" program, lol.

Make sure they say thanks, because my friend once gave out a very nice free item, worth like 50k, and they just asked for more. So MAKE SURE they say thanks :P

Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.

Too bad most of them beg afterwards. <.<

Helping newbies is really fun. I sometimes go to Lumbridge to help new players with things like bringing them to Varrock or answering some simple questions. It makes me feel happy :D

Meh... Let them learn the game by their selfs, Just like we all did. You know how much xp you could've gotten in that time?

I helped a newbie through the security stronghold yesterday, gave him a Amulet Of Defence and food, we took us through quite easily. Felt pretty good, now he is a member, at level 17, kinda bad level to become member at =S.

Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

I do this all the time, and i'm in a high ranking position in a organization that does this, we have over 650 members! (woot)

Glad you helped someone!

everyone now and then I make full iron and give it to newbies in lumb. Also I give them some advice like to kill chickens for training and collect the featers to sell.

I totally agree! I befriend a ton of new players in Lumbridge in my spare time. I don't have much money, but I make them bronze weapons and boots and gloves, and maybe armor when I level. I do a quest or two, and teach them stuff just like Joordan. I give them money when I have enough, and most are really thankful. Except for the ones that go "HA! I scammed you sucker! I didn't pay you and you gave me stuff! Dumb%@#!" Those bug me.

the trouble is you make these threads telling people to help them and what happens is lazy people 'help' them buy giving them free armour etc and the next wave of beggars is born
