Riddance
Have you ever seen a level 6 with membership? This one girl added me, said she was new, and she was a level 8 member, I mean, Jesus you could atleast play F2P and learn the basics, before getting extras. But, Then again they might just be some other accounts pures, or whatever. But Why would you pay 5 bucks a month for a game you just started playing? I dunno.... ugafan_2009
I was a member at 23. Training is much easier in members. Maybe she had a rl friend she wanted to play with and became a member. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
darkblade986
It's a player's choice when to buy members, whether they're "skilled" at this game or not (by our standards at least). If they don't know much about the game, then that's what the Skill Tutors are for. don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
mullen32
Yeah you would be much better off with higher levels, but if it was a second account, she could know enough of the game to do well. Goal: All stats 70+
timmay929
I know a lvl 3 member. He is a skiller though so he has been playing for a while. It no big deal. spikerkid
It does look weird when you see level 15 playing castle wars with you. You could atleast get a good start before becoming members. O well their money, their choice. Quit RuneScape :)
Riddance
Yeah, But heres the full story: I was walking around Varrock, about to make some Earth Runes, when some one messages me saying : "Hey your on my friendslist, lets be friends okay?" i say yes, and she asked me what my age was... I thought she was a dude at the time, since her screename was pretty mascuelent. She and i talked, and i diecided to help this newb out and get her some Iron Armor, which is a breeze for me to make. She says to meet her in lumby, so i attempt to go into her world, and its a Members only. I get back on to my server and asked her if shes a member, she says yeah. I get to lumby and i asked where the heck is she, she says shes new and she doesn't know her way around. We eventaully meet up, and i realize that shes a chick, im a bit embrassed, but whatever. I give her the armor, and i go off to do my own things. Thats the story. Meh, if she wants to be a member thats her buisness, not mind.
zaquierming
Why? I say the sooner you get members, the better. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
Giordano
They can be members anytime they want. Its faster training too :P "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
Ddrmaster7
Though I think it's slightly odd when I see levels 3-30 in members worlds, I don't think they should go back to F2P simply because of their level. As Zaquier said, the sooner, the better. Ranked top 15 in the world for In The Groove. Click to watch videos.I'm back! For now.
spooferfish
I was a member at 23. Training is much easier in members. Maybe she had a rl friend she wanted to play with and became a member. Exactly. Or maybe she didnt want to try the free version. Theres nothing wrong with low level members.
Chocobodude0
I became member at 40 'cause my friends say that's the perfect time to go member. And yeah, it made training waay easier.
inferno_140
True it would be better for a person to stay free world for a while to get the basics but there is by all means nothing wrong with becoming a member straight away. One of my good friends did that and she is wonderfull at this game. Also i think it is unfair to think that it is wrong for somone without a certain quality to become a member. Yes, they may get attacked by more wild monsters, but the fact is that may make his or her gameplay more magical. ~/~ Inferno ~/~
zaquierming
I had another thought. When I started, I started in f2p. I was surrounded by scammers that were trying every scam available to them. Now, being a low level and surrounded by these things - I admit, I was tempted to try it. Now, I did not ever attempt to scam, but others might. The p2p atmosphere is much more friendly and filled with more experienced players and would better set an example for those newcomers. So, low level members is not always a bad thing. Justthefr00b
I got mem at level 21. Went to the goblins by Port Sarim, and used a spear on swipe until I got to 40 combat. MUCH faster training. ROSA PARKS HAS JUST BEEN HIT BY A PIECE OF CHICKENRetired until further notice since quite frankly RuneScape has been boring me and it's not getting any better and WoW happened. hiddendark
I wish that I was a member earlier (became member at lvl 66). It would have been a lot easier to train combat (rock crabs), and I would have gotten better drops (Lvl 1 clues). There are also member skills that would have been nice to be able to do. So ya I think it is a good idea to become a member as soon as possible. Click here for my blog!Barrows Drops:

If they don't know much about the game, then that's what the Skill Tutors are for. I doubt a man saying what the game does and and is will benefit a player in actually knowing the game; like experience (not points). Usually, people see if they like the game before paying $5 a month for it. Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!
