Secondly, I am only at the part where I had to set off the bomb, blowing up the underground tunnel, but later finding out that it was like 1 of 1,000 tunnels. Now Marcus, the main character, has to go back to his home for who knows what reason...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was asking you guys what you thought of it, what you like about it, and maybe how far you've gotten :wink:

GOW is better then Halo 2 online.

Halo 2 multiplayer is better and GOW campaign is better....looks like there may be a second one, but i wont wreck the ending for you.

Yeah my bro's got that at my dad's house, plays it on a large HD screen and I gotta say it really is amazing, =D> round of appaulse to who made it.. It took a while to get used to the controls but you get into a system and develop a stratagy which is boss, I never played counterstrike or anything for a long period so I guess im still new but I did play quake 3 for a long while so I was suprisingly good for a beginner. :D I know there are gonna be people who just pick it up straight away and are almost robot like controllin it, those people are just weird. -.-

I must be wierd. I've only played like... 3 hours of it, and I'm that far. I basically can kill things without aiming anymore =] My 2 favorite guns is the one that controls the satellite, and the gun, that when you hold down B, a chainsaw comes out =] I just run through a bunch of people tearing them to shreds.

I had GoW, but my brother temporarily traded with a buddy of his for NFS: Carbon.. I have no idea where either game is now...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I played through the campaign, ending is kinda bleh, but I think I heard there's suposed to be 3 total GoW games, you'll find out when you beat it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The game online is O.K. and IMO, Halo 2 online is better, to a point. 4v4 is fun, but sometimes I just want to blow like 18 peoples heads off at once :twisted:

Its a shame its only 2 player splitscreen instead of 4. I prefer to play with my real friends than online.

Attention Halo fanboys: play other FPS'.

I do like Halo, but this game seems more exciting, and stuff. It has a mix between Halo, and Resident Evil. Halo, because you kill aliens and stuff. Resident Evil because it's really glory, it's scary (Not too scary, but like when things jump out), and things jump out at you while it's dark and stuff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I like GOW better because you see more species of stuff, while like in Halo, you only see a couple different species of aliens. So, it's more freaky to get farther because the aliens get scarier and harder.

My friend got Gears for Christmas, and it's all he can talk about. He was so pumped for on-line, that he's had it for over a week, and hasn't played the story yet. =D>

Gears of War is a brilliant game. Got an xbox 360 on boxing day, well worth it. Online is great but 8 players max is kinda limited but doesnt really detract from the overall fun.

I love Gears of War. I'm at the boss. I got there and decided to stop playing for a little while. I figure I'll kill him today. Anyway, the graphics and storyline are both amazing. Xbox Live is great also. In my opinion, Halo beats Gears in online play but Gears kills Halo in campaign. Gears of War is, hands down, the best FPS I've played so far.

iv actually played quite a few, i just like the fact in halo, any weapon can beat any weapon. its very well thought out and the stages are designed very well, the vechiles are good and the team play is awesome

I found it to be WAY over rated, it was all about the hype. My friend bought it when it came out and we beat it in a night, and i wasn't impressed for how good people were claiming it to be. The graphics were ok, but everything was normal and the same as every other shooter. Not to mention when you tried to run and your character would take cover behind what ever you run by #-o The story sucked and they didn't expand on it at all. It's an ok game, but there are tons of better ones out there and i don't think it should have gotten game of the year :uhh:

i beat the game and insane mode is HARD! i died at least 20 times on the part where dom breaks marcus out of prison

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

(you get 80 achievment points for completing 1 level!!!)

Gears of War, from what I've heard is a good game. I don't own the game but have played it on-line with friends. It is kind of the first game that is a true Xbox 360 FPS online game. It's the game that I think revealed the Xbox 360's online capability. If you ask me though... It doesn't match up to Halo 2 for the on-line experience. :D
