I used to watch that show religiously. :lol: [Every day after school, hah :oops: ]. same here ^^ - and my friend just bought the DVDs for every episode (including the ones edited out in the UK/US) and we intend to spend around 1 week solid watching the entire set.... heaven... I like Abenobashi shopping arcade a lot ^^ - but its only in japanese and i doubt anybody else here has heard of it..

January 5, 200719 yr Full Metal Alchemist hands down. My friend got me into it a few months back and let me borrow all 51 episodes. I got the movie for hanukkah and finished the whole series a few days ago. One of the things I really liked about it was how instead of the whole "bad guy of the season" sort of style, it felt like one long adventure.

January 6, 200719 yr Most anim̮̩̉̉ imo is pretty crappy. OTT cartoons. But there are some that shine above the rest. Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Outlaw Star. January 7, 200719 yr Love Hina is a great romantic comedy, I've heard great things about Bleach, I love CardCaptors Sakura and .hack//SIGN, and my friend loves Death Note.

January 7, 200719 yr Gankutsuou! :thumbsup: Lol its an anime of the Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas(Hes also the writer of the Three Musketeers), its closer to the book than any movies have been, it has its twists, but they don't take away from the actual story a bit. But if you don't like the book you most likely won't like the anime. Trigun and Cowboy Bebop are great ones to watch too, I definatly recomend watching them ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~

But I have to agree with you on that second point, it is quite annoying, especially to me, who is in love with Japanese culture(Not just anime, the entire culture, history, religion, ect) ~^v^~Ex-Leader of the Divine Flames of Redemption~^v^~
