I'm with ya. I don't believe a true parent should force you into marriage. I think it's cruel and an awful practice.

But its their culture.

I'm with you, If my parents forced me to date someone whom they deemed "good" then forced me to marry her, well that would lead to me taking a very long "trip". Living in the US seems pretty good eh? :P

Arranged marriage is the devil.

I don't think forced marriage is right. I might go out with a girl if our parents set us up on a date, but I don't think it would work out since I'd rather be the one to find that special someone.
