jonstark7x8
Count of Monte Cristo! Read it in my senior English class in high school and got hooked on it, I doubt I'd be able to describe it without spoiling it, so I won't. Omg, that is my favorite book too! I've read it 3 times now, it's AMAZING. But it's 1,000-odd pages and a little slow to start out with, but it's the best book I've ever read and I'm a book nerd. Echofish
I never read books. Maybe once in a while I'll stumble on an interesting read but that's rare nowadays. The only book I liked for real was Holes by Louis Sachar. We had to read it in school and I read ahead and loved it Ultra Unholy,Hearted Machine... Deeno13
Into Thin Air. It's a non-fiction book about a man who climbed mount Everest when 6-10 people died. I don't know the exact figures but it was around there. Very good book for people interested in mountaineering or the outdoors.

Bloodmourn
Oh, far too many to name. But here's a short little list: Armor by John Steakley (Sci-Fi) The Malus Darkblade Series by Dan Abbnet and Mike Lee (Fantasy) Basically anything by R.A. Salvatore (Fantasy) Lord of the Rings <-- I'm such a sheep. (Fantasy) The Dhampir Series by Barb and J.C. Hendee (Fantasy) Angels and Demons by Dan Brown Timeline by Michael Crichton (If you watched the movie, trust me. The book is waaaay better.) I don't really like Sci-Fi books much, and mostly read fantasy. I haven't even begun to read Eragon, heard bad things from people that share my tastes and so I figured I wouldn't bother. I feel kinda lame seeing names of books I've never even heard of on here, but I'll probably wind up looking into many of them. :) If any of you like deep science fiction with awesome twists, read "Armor". It far outstrips anything else on my list.

Rebdragon
Oh, far too many to name. But here's a short little list: Armor by John Steakley (Sci-Fi) Amen. I love sci-fi and fantasy as well, about equally. I read books to escape reality, not to read about it  . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. zunee27
I can't stand them lol. :P Yeah, it's definitely not for everyone. But I got hooked on when I got the feeling of how vast the Middle Earth is or how rich the history Tolkien made it to be. I think that its great that hobbit has lived on through this generalization of his stories into multi-media! Hobbit Hero and the Crown(google it me no have time for authors) Shoot the trees!!! 55 range (updated weekly)barrows runs ever:1 Tunnel:VeracsGoals: (range) 55/60 (attack) 53/60 (woodcutting) 68/70 (gold) 2.291m/3.5m
pault
For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway Simply the best. Hemingway is the undisputed master at crafting beautiful and extremely straightforward prose. The books dialogue is in translated Spanish, ensuring that almost every other sentence has the word "Man" in it, and the swear words are all strange and ill-translated, making the dialogue seem alot more relaxed and contemporary than it actually is. jackalope14
Not the best book, but I just recently read In Cold Blood and It wasnt so much entertaining as it was interesting. It wouldnt be so interesting if the events in this book didnt actually happen, but to think that the book is based off of true events....*shiver*
