January 16, 200719 yr Buying iron and coal and then make steel bars out of it is like the worst way to make money. If you're lucky, You may score 40k an hour... Runecrafting is much faster :thumbsup:

January 16, 200719 yr For a mid level smither, making mith plates is pretty fast (I hope it is anyway, I'm spending all this time trying to get 68). Buy coal en masse, mine your own mith and high alch the plates. Is that fast? Merchanting coal is nice since the price range is wide. Merchanting rares is hard in f2p, because few f2pers have that money, and you'll be regularly assaulted with new ppl offering low.(it happened to me just trying to sell colored gloves!)

January 16, 200719 yr 1. merchanting 2. smithing steel 3. mining rune why? merchanting is fastest in f2p although it will need some debating in p2p. in f2p, we do not have nat crafting, yew fletching or much profitable items to alch. we do not have good drops, just merchanting. and no, i don't merchant trimmed armour as it is pretty slow. smithing steel gives you good forging exp. but still its boring and SLOW. you want mining rune? sure. only a few rocks for you to choose from in f2p and with the very very slow rate. hmm.

January 16, 200719 yr My younger brother got full guthix in less than five days buying runes from the port sarim rune shop, such as airs, fires, waters, and earths, until they hit 10 each, then he would world hop, and do it more. He then goes to w1 varrock and sells them all 15-20k each. (he didnt even play more than 1-2 hours a day doing this) Noted raw mackerel drop... Wtfh? Always buying: Watermelon seeds, 2K each. January 16, 200719 yr mining, runecrafting, woodcutting. you can make money with runecrafting quite easily. you can craft about 1000 rune essence in an hour, running by yourself. now, if you can make 5 airs each ess, you can make about 1,260gp profit each trip so you can make about 45k profit in an hour, but can make a lot more when you get to higher lvls.(at lvl 77 you can make about 80k an hour). goal:1000 total f2p lvls.
January 16, 200719 yr Merchanting definitely makes me a lot of money, I've made 150k in about 5 min once...but i don't really like merchanting. I like making money through skilling. Overall, the most money I get is through: 1. Making Strength Amulets 2. Buying Raw Lobs and Cooking, then reselling 3.
