Well i recently started going on dag king trips. On my first d axe drop i was hooked, i loved that place, and i started getting axes and rings often. I usually go with just 1 friend and we kill rex, i made around 10m profit (after splitting) in less than a week. Well my last 4 trips were disasters.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4 trips ago: Went in, another team was there, had to switch (logging out was hard lol). Ended up wasting 2 p pots and that trip i had totally garbage drops.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3 trips ago: Started off ok, just got rockshell plate, and my friend got legs. Then my friend lagged and died..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2 trips ago: Well i normally go on crowded worlds for faster spawns, we went on world 6 this trip. This time my friend and i killed prime once so we wouldnt have to mage protect that often (only when lots of mage spinops were attacking). So prime was dead and we had 1k spells to waste, everything was going good, i got a warrior ring, then at around 300 spells left, my friend lagged out, but luckily he got auto logged before he died. 2 kills later, i see a white dot on the map, i think that it could be another team so i didnt tele, i continue killing rex. Then the dot gets to me, it was a lvl 121 wearing torags and a guthix prayer thingy (that goes in ammy spot). He keeps stepping on me so i cant see hp, i tell him "kill supreme.." he just keeps stepping on me. I wasnt getting hit that often by supreme, so i tried to finish off that last rex. I end up with ~ 10hp, and no anti poisons since i was near the end of my trip. I tele (without killing rex) run to bank, quickly bank guthans spear, wihdraw anti posion, and just before i could drink it, poison killed me. I lost around 200 to 300k, plus the warrior ring drop. Worst trip so far.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last trip: (started at world 12)Well my friend and i go down the ladder, kill supreme with ease, no food used. Get to the safe spot, theres someone there killing rex. So my friend logs out to switch, but i couldnt cause prime was attacking me. I ask the guy (who just finished killing rex) to attack prime to get him off my back so i can switch. He calls me a luring noob and tells me to get lost. So i run back out the ladder, go to the safe spot east and log out. I talk with my friend on messenger and we choose a new world, he was still at the rex spot, so i just had to go down and kill supreme by myself. So we go through 4 worlds, all of them have people, then we finally get to world 6, fast spawns, and there was no-one there. So i go down, kill supreme, then join my friend at rex. We lost around 3 p pots due to problems, and prime was really close, so we decide to kill him with dds lol. His defense is really high, so it took a while. As we were killing prime, a lvl 124 logs in at rex and starts killing him, luckily he didnt hesitate to switch when we asked (fortunatley not everyone at DK's is a noob). So prime is dead, which will slow down our prayer consumption by a lot, we get back to killing rex with no drops, and around 15 kills in, the same guy who killed me before came back. I quickly tell my friend that its the same guy who lured me before, my friend instantly tellies. I tell the lvl 121 lurer noob to go kill supreme, and he runs off. So im to killing rex again (safely) when the 121 comes back again.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The idiot is saying "help, im lost", i tell him to teleport out, he says he has no runes. OMG, he comes in dagganoth-king-killing gear and hes lvl 121(should know something by now) and he keeps stepping on me while supreme is hittin 30s on me. I ran out of food and just tellied. Didnt die this time as i still had super anti poisons.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So im super discouraged, lost so much money in those 4 trips, died once, and had no good drops. I kind of hate dagganoth kings now.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Well i mainly wanted to warn ppl about world 6 and dagganoth kings, i would post the guys name, but im not sure if its allowed. Well hes lvl 121, wears torags, slayer staff and the guthix prayer ammy thing, and i think trimmd strength cape (not sure). I honestly think that lurers at DK's are worse than scammers, as theyre low-lives who do anything to make an easy buck, and its harder to avoid lureres than scammers. If i had my way, id make DK luring a bannable offense.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And what eats me up most inside, is the fact that i never got to finish those 2 last rex's. I keep thinking, "what if it dropped a daxe, and that noob got my drop?"

You shouldn't go worlds like 6 for dking even if its fast spawns i usally lure supreme for my mates so they can kill rex just dont go on a major server okay

seriously, the full worlds are gonna be there first targets :roll:

might just be a noob whos new to dks, but might be a lurer. like half of 120+ will do ANYTHING to take over the lair. especially cos its a major server.

In other news, around an hour later my friend said he was feeling lucky lol, and that he wanted to go again. So we went on world 84 i think, around 1.6k ppl, and 15 kills in we got a zerker ring :) That was refreshing lol.

hmm i might go DKing later as i have a a crystal bow 9\10 in bank though i never did a DK trip... (looks at guides for a long time)... If im going to range and mage i should kill rex and prime right? PM me please

Deal with it. You should know better than to duo. If you go with a team, run up the ladder and start again. Yes after awhile it gets annoying, but this is runescape... Just wait for the hype to die down and in a few months no one will care.

this can happen no matter what world you use, sadly. The people will "step on you" to try to make the other kings attack you as well. Only thing you can do is out-lure them or avoid their luring.

Lol, with recent prices you'd have to live at the Dagganoth Kings to make 10M a week... that, and you'd need the skill and luck not to get killed by a Lurer. A bad death could mean losing 10M instead of making 10M :? .

As for the lurers, I've heard they're a pain seeing as I've never gone dking. Just avoid critical points where most dkers try to go because a good load of dkers = a good load of lurers.

First of all, 10m a week from DKs is easy, from what ive on other peoples DK posts, im getting junk lol. The best ive had in 1 trip is 2 zerker rings. In the first week i did maybe 2 to 3 trips a day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the reason i didnt tele is because the guy seemed to have left, and i wanted to kill more rex some more. And i doubt the lurer was a noob at DK's, he was purposely tryin to kill me, he knew what he was doing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The only reason i died is because i ran out of anti pots lol. But i got another axe yesterday. :)

I believe I'm going to come out with an "Anti-lurer" Video Soon. With ALL My tactics. I'll hopefully get to kill one of them (again).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On Topic: A Lurer has NEVER Killed me. Or even Came close, TBH. I know almost every trick in the book to get them off me, and how to NOT TELEPORT when they are around, It's pretty fun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But seriously, Noobinator and Guthinator (whatever the hell his name is), both are "Professional" Dagannoth Kings lurers. Which, honestly, Would probally be good money with stupid people in the lair these days. And, they keep the noob DK'ers OUT of the Lair, and the Axe Prices UP. But, I'm still against them.
