This morning, 2 PETA members were found dumping the bodies of several animals in a grocery store's dumpster. They are currently in custody. This was broadcasted on CNN, so if anyone wants to find the video, they are more than welcome. What I don't understand is if PETA is for animals, why did these sico's kill them?

Yeah, it's quite sick really. So I suppose PETA still loves animals, just medium rare.

A bit confusing.

So PETA is basically killing animal that have terminal illnesses, aggressive behavior, or have a low chance of being adopted. Of course they're doing it "humanely" or so they say.

Is that the right summary?

Apparently PETA kills a lot of animals it "saves" in a "humane" manner if there doesn't seem to be much of a future for them :uhh:

In 2002, nearly 2/3rds of all those they 'rescued'.

The economy is run by 13 year olds. Inflation hits when their girlfriends dump them. Besides, in any normal economy an influx of new items is a good shot in the arm.

There's the topic I was after - thanks for that Matt :)

Yea; PETA really are whacky. Aren't they classified as a terrorist organisation in some regions or close to it? I've forgotten actually; but some of the stuff they do is classified as terrorism (by definition) :|

I think in this case they were trying to frame the grocery store.

Excactly, near where I am some activists "liberated" a chicken farm. I bet the local foxes are pretty fat.

Apparently PETA feed Pink lies about how we treat our sheep, so she insulted us at a concert. She has since apologized
PETA once contanimated feed for export sheep, with meat, and effectively lost australian export millions of dollars. A lot of sheep farmers got screwed over with that.

ecconomic terrorism ftl :uhh:

The article is more about whether or not euthanasia is legal compared to the unhumane treatment of animals O.o
