Hey

Well, as a child the first and only gaming system my parents bought me was a Nintendo 64.

Over the years I had games like

Zelda-Ocarina of Time

Super Mario 64

Mario Kart

Mario Tennis

Diddy Kong Racing

World Cup 98

Banjo Kazooie

Mario Party

Starfox

Snowboard Kids

To Name a few

This thread is here to reminice how good/bad the N64 was...

I got a N64 for my 6th birthday and loved it. The console came with Banjo Kazooie and still play it to this day. <3:

I didn't had a lot of games for it though: Banjo and Kazooie 1 + 2, Rocket: Robot on Wheels, Snowboard Kids 2, a race game, and a basketball game.

Yup still have it. My parents got the 'green' Donkey kong special edition one, and we still have it to this very day.

We had:

-Donkey kong 64

-Zelda: Majoras mask (Never actually 'owned" OoC, but i borwed it and completed it 2 times)

-007 (The first one, I remember my best friend would play this all the time when he was over, and when he finally got a N64, completely owned at it. Pity, Xbox just came out then :P)

-Perfect dark (The only FPS i was ever 'leet' at)

-Banjoo Kazooi (Mostly my mom played it)

-Star wars pod racing

-Pokemon stadium (I begged my parents to get me this one)

Thats all i can remember for now, but man, those were some of the best game years of my life. Plus best party system. Ever.

I'm still kicking myself that donkey kong 64 was the only game I never beat. I was 1 golden banana short of entering king krool (sp?)'s island thing. I could not beat the classic donkey kong vs mario thing.

I eventually gave away my N64 to a relative and I'll regret that every day. :(

The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.

Ahh, the good ole N64. I used to love playing that. The best games were:

Zelda: OoT (Duhh)

Banjo Kazooie, I remember my sister beat this, I thought she was god.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1, I played this until about 4 in the morning the first day I got this.

Ken Griffey Jr. Slugfest, me and my brother had some intense games

Goldeneye, took forever to get past that pyramid looking level.

122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength

97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

Let's see.. Banjo Kazooie, Goldeneye, Super Smash Brothers, Snowboard Kids 2, and that DK game that wasn't with the drums.. Those were the days. I wish I had an N64 at any point lol..

I was playing Smash Bros with my friend the other day

my first game was Mace-a random fighter with an impossible boss(me and my friend switched off for hours trying to beat him to no prevail)

I also traded Mortal Combat 4 for Mario Party 2 with this kid I use to know

best trade ever

awesome game not mentioned:

International Superstar Soccer. The entire series, nowadays called Pro Evolution Soccer, still good, but more like FIFA I'd say... =/. Best football game ever.

Still play it every now and then, aswell as Mario Kart, and SSB occasionally at a friends house.

I'm mostly a PC gamer, but the only console I have is my N64.

The first game I got was Top Gear Rally and the OoT, nowadays I have like 30-40 games for it. I think I'll get a Wii though...

Starfox is kinda hard the first time you do beat it. After that it's a complete joke to beat.

I want to play Zelda OOT again. That game really rocked when i was younger, I miss it :

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

It was the first system I ever bought myself, I saved up for a while when I heard it was coming out and got it soon after it came out, it had some classic games on there, I unfortunatly never tried the Zelda games cause they didn't interest me back then, I was a kid of course. My most favorite games on there were Mario 64, SSB, Kirby, and Paper Mario, I must have beaten the last 2 countless times, but I never really got tired of them.

I think the Super Nintendo outranks the 64 with ease though, it had the real classic nintendo games.
