I'm just really boring. Dravian was a name that I used for a paper D&D character back in the mid 1980's. Yes, I played D&D on paper, and the char was a Paladin that I used for years. Holy Avenger FTW!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I started using online in the early 90's when I was playing NeverWinter Nights on AOL (and paying out the nose by the hour!!). I became a guild chief in NWN, and the guild was called the Brotherhood of Pathfinders, a.k.a. BoP. I remember writing an entire backstory for Dravian Ranthorne that was on one of the roleplaying boards on AOL for years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When I started RS, Dravian was already taken, so I took Bop Dravian. Never have found the person who had my name.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't think any of that guild besides me ever made it to RS, although they did spread out among many MMORPGs after AOL shut down NeverWinter.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, my name has nothing to do with the fact that I like cookies. Oreo is a nickname one of my best friends gave to me back in 4th grade, and its just stuck ever since. 9870 is the number that was at the end of my name in the game I played before I found Runescape, so I used it here also :wink:

been asked that a few times......I remember trying all the cool medieval names I could think of, like conan, belgarion, etc....taken ....hmmmm typed Lord.....(king seemed a bit pretentious hehe) now what....and to this day, I dont know where it came from.....Krohn popped into my head. Lord Krohn...hm well seems archaic enough...enter....voila.... :uhh:

Looking at the high detail skeleton and low detail human. I was thinking that if you turning the guy inside out and took the blood and flesh away, it would probably look like the skeleton. The X was added to make it sound better.

My main name: "Skaterlam" is because I figure skate(Ice) and it was supposed to be "iam" instead of "lam" but it looks weird with "Skateriam".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My miner skiller's name: "Son_of_rsc"...Rsc stands for Runescape Classic :D . And thus "son" of Runescape Classic is the Runescape we play right now :) . I got this idea from Pest Control, some guy called "Son of Sara". I thought that was cool so I tried to create "Son_of_zammy" or just "zam". But it was taken :cry: . Luckily, in my personal opinion, I this name.

The Ubah part is a mix of uber and pah. Uber for my greatness, and pah for my lethargy to use that greatness.

When I found Runescape I tried the name of course it was taken. So I added the 42 (its the answer to life, the universe, and everything you know) since I couldn't think of anything else. I hate making up names.
