I would say merchanting but u said only skilling so...have to be either runecrafting (at lvl 99) or wc (once able to cut yews)

No ones shooting down anyones ideas. The truth is essence mining is not good money. If ur friend got 25mill off that for a santa, he needs to go outside a bit more. People have the right to their own opinions but i guess you don't see that. The ignorant one here is unfortunately you.

p2p ess mining is very profitable. Pure ess is 110 ea. It takes about an hour for 1k ess... 110k an hour

My own methods that I've used with varying success....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Essence mining : 100k per hour (but very little exp)

 

 

 

Abyssal Demons : 175k per hour (about 1 whip per 10 hours)

 

 

 

Barrows : Generally about 10m per week (if I play 20-25 hours)

 

 

 

Merchanting : I don't do this, but I hear you can make millions per day

 

 

 

Staking : don't do this either, but if you're good check out the Graveyard forum.

 

 

 

Fletching : 150k-450k per hour (string yews only)

Depends.....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you already have money, merchanting is the way to go. I am merchanting right now and I made 2.4M this week.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I totally agree with the previous post.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another good way is level 1 clue scrolls from HAM guards. When i had my membership I spent like 10 hours thieving from HAM people. I would normally get 5-6 clues and hour, and 1/5 was worth close to 100k (lots of torn pages).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For f2p I would have to say either air runecrafting (that got me a good 2M) or cutting yews.

For P2P it's quite simple.. Take a weapon of your choice and travel to Edgeville, go down into Edgeville Dungeon and make your way to the Wilderness Entrance. When you're there, go into the Wilderness and you'll see lots of Chaos Druids. These druids drops alot of herbs, and you can collect them. Sell them as Unindentified for 1k each, you'll make about 300k-500k a day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then when you've made about 1M you should start merchanting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For F2P it's alittle bit harder, since there are no real quick ways of making money. The best way in my oppinion would be collecting Big Bones/Limpwurt Roots until you have about 500k and then start merchanting various items.

For F2P i would suggest

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A) Coal ore mining

 

 

 

B) Iron ore mining

 

 

 

C) Cut yews or Willows

 

 

 

D) Runecrafting

 

 

 

E) Fish for lobsters

There is so many great way, personally I fish and cook for lobbies, not only does it help fishing and cooking but it also sometimes if you know how to do it right, gets you rich and fast i got like 1 mill in ten caus of it.

so either your friend is p2p, and spent 866 hours of mining (36 straight days of playing 24/7 without breaksas in siting on toilet playing with fridge next to him, and a pillow above the toilet to rest his head on when he should be sleeping(which is btw impossible, and even if it was possible, he would be sycotic, and unable to be your friend, there fore proving you were lieing)

mining iron ore when i was f2p, i 1 hit everything and made my first mil by doing this
