Favorite/Worst Mini-Games

Featured Replies

With the release of this new mini game which I've heard is another failure like barb. assault. Just wondering what everyones favorite and least favorite mini-games are? Just kind of interested in seeing what people think.

Barrows of course! - I like the fact that its risky yet, very reward especially if you know what your doing. Just a great mini game in general and I have yet to see a flaw in it.

Castle Wars - Unlike most people I'm not a big fan of this game. Games last way too long and take way too long to start with not that great rewards. There are also just a lot of problems with the game in general such as this thing they've done with the rocks. Could be a great mini-game, I think its a great idea just needs to be improved a lot.

Tell me, how is Barbarian Assault a failure? I went there recently and didn't have too much trouble in creating my own team, and I beat the queen numerous times, most of the players on my team were experienced and I had a good time.

The game is not a failure.

Basically same as you, never tried barrows but it defiantly looks likes the best.

Ermmm well castle wars is pretty boring (mainly cus i dont know how to do it) \'

Then again pest control aint that bad

Actually the new minigame is pretty good, those who say it isn't is because they haven't got the hang of it and can't do it correctly. If it may not be the best thieving XP, is a great way to get herbs

My least favorite is the Trawler.... it doesn't have any point

As far as a favourite I do not have

MY BEST ITEM IS A BRONSE COIN! I KILLED ZEZIMA AND HE DROPED IT!

In my opinion, Jagex hasn't been too sucessful with mini-games. Many of them have great potential, but just don't meet most players standards. A mini-game should be fun, yet rewarding. Very few have met this criteria. Two off the top of my head would be Barrows and Pest Control.

Both Barrows and Pest Control have great rewards, though they are two very different games. Barrows is both fun and rewarding, though not the best game if your looking towards exp. Pest Control on the other hand is fun at first, then boring and repetitive. Though it offers some of the best combat experience in the game.

Some I dislike would have to be every other mini-game... Just not well thought out.

from what I've been hearing (not that I've actually been myself in a while) the game pretty much dead but I don't know there might still be some poeple who still play it.

How can you call the game a failure if you haven't even been there in a while to check it??

Worlds 2, 6 (quite good) and 9 were easy for me to get a game, and 9 dropped off later in the day (1 am for you Yanks), I switched to World 6 and got straight into a game.

Castle wars is not that bad. I know the rewars are rubbish but you can put them in your house now and if im on saras team I can stop people from getting the flag.

Im currently accicted to pest control. The rewards are worth it aswell.

Im not a big fan of barrows as im always dieing so its not worth it.

.sigs these of many too read have you backwards this read you If

Favorite : Barrows

Least Favorite : Pest Control, I simply hate it!

All of you are wrong, the best minigame is tears of guthix!!! It beats pest control and barrows anyday. Neither of those skills can give you exp in your weakest area. PC is good for training combat, but once that is done it's bye bye to pest control. You will never stop using tears of guthix.

as for least favorite, I have a personal vendetta against rat pits. Basically because I'm an ex-rat owner (R.I.P. )

1. Pest Control

2. Barrows

3. Treasure Trails

favorite: pest control, well i dont really play that much, but its a life saver when i need str exp. 8-)

worst: castle wars

WHY??

-too many ancients, kills go down cause of them

-no helms, no barrows :?

-rock update.

-too repetitive

-rewards arent that great.

castle wars the worst minigame i ever played in runescape. <.<

I think the only reason that Temple Trekking isn't mentioned more as worst is because nearly everyone has forgotten it exists.

Favorite: Shades of Mort'ton

least favorite: Temple Trecking...i really don t know what they were thinking on that one...It's way to hard to get back to the start plus the rewards are awful

I like the new one.

Barrows for second

Pest Control for third place.

I don't like castlewars since its full of rubbish levels who are sometimes level 16. Sorry but if I wanted to beat on punching bags I would do that in the Duel Arena. Boring..

I say that yes, mini games die down very hard. Temple Trekking, BA. Pyramind Plunder, Barrows, and Pest control remain alive due to the great rewards. The others just don't fit the RuneScape community I suppose.

best: treasure trails. it has brought so much new armor and color to the game.

worst: pest control. simply, i am thinking that pc ruined the combat training. i am respecting old days so much, that only pc i do is with chinchompas, helping in w78.

Fav: Barrows

I think most of them are good, (but barbarian assult) However, It depends on your experience, If you had the worst time in CW...or PC, you might not like it very much. n

99 Hunting Woot!

Well, I have done around 5 level 1 clue scrolls, and never got anything better than normal black legs <.< -.- <.< But, if I get clues, I will still do them, as I am still hopeful 8-) My favourite is probably the new one, as it gives reasonably good rewards, and you need reflexes. which no item in the game can give you :P  :D

Andus-Sig-1.jpg

My favorite is Trouble Brewing. The worst one IMO is Castle Wars.

Best: Fight Pits, Castle Wars, B.A, Barrows

Least: Temple Trecking, P.C w\e

Quit RuneScape :)

I really like tears of guthix, but you don't do much haha. You can only play once a week also. Other than that, barrows by the looks of it. I have not been able to play it, but I would guess it's the best.
