I rare equaling the ammount of money you would spend on a 99 skill of your choice, or the 99 skill cape? Who would chose rares before 99's, and who would chose 99's before rare's.... Post your opinion!       There are many things to consider. Like for example, what skill cape? Because if it is fletching or cooking, I would go for a rare. Mainly because so many people have 99 cooking/fletching it won't get you the respect a rare will. However, slso think 'do I want a stream of beggars following me for money because of my rare?' Obviously fletching could easily be bought with a phat, but something like runecrafting would be worth more money-wise than a phat at 99.       It comes down to "Can it be bought with money to spare from a phat" If yes, then the phat is worth more.
