Maybe different colors are there to match some hawt outfits. Newt eye + Feather = Rune satchel Chicken + Swordfish = Black satchel Cowhide + Unicorn horn = Green satchel Spider eggs + Sardine = Red satchel Jubbly + Lobster = Gold satchel Cave eel + Giant toads legs = "Plain" satchel (white) Also, Bonafido (that builder sitting outside the tower) was a plain satchel and tea flask. They hold 3 items (cake, banana, and triangle sandwich). Hey, you never know, you could be near death with something valuable, but hey!
