February 27, 200719 yr I am a constant farming and I have over 250 roots in my bank. Magic roots are good for making nature ammies but each player can own only one and hardly anyone buys them. I can make super and extra strong antiposion potions from yew and magic roots but I've got plenty of super antiposions that work just fine. Oak, willow and maple have no use what so ever that I know about so why do they even exist. I guess leave it to jagex to make useless items (bird eggs). Does anyone know a real use for tree roots or should I drop them all. I'm always buying snapdragon seeds, name your price.
February 27, 200719 yr You can make supercompost from them. Or bowstrings. That's pretty much it. EDIT: Oak roots can also be used in brewing.
February 27, 200719 yr Author U can make crossbow strings from them, but no one really uses crossbows. I didn't know you can make super compost out of them, that's good to know. February 27, 200719 yr I thought you could make a basket or something out of willow roots. If they take up space you'd love to have free, I'd say drop it. If you got enough bank space I'd say keep them, you never know what they will be used for in the future. Jagex said the same about bird eggs (still no good use for them but that doesn't matter) a mod said you should keep hold to the things that are availible for every player, but not (yet) usefull. :) Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.

February 27, 200719 yr Various roots are useful for different things, but supercompost is really the way to go with things like maple roots. As you said, you don't need to pick pinapples for a long time! ~ W ~

February 28, 200719 yr so yeah like other people say. you can make antidote+. with magik tree root it lasts like forever. so its really good to take to places like dagganoth kings.( i dont think i spelled it right.)

February 28, 200719 yr oak roots - brewing "axeman's folly" which increases your wc when drunk(I collect them :P), supercompost willow - supercompost (willow branches are used for baskets, not the roots) maple - supercompost yew - anti potions(+), supercompost magic - nature ammies, anti potions(++), supercomost All types of roots do have a use... Although there aren't many who know of them or make use of them
