I first heard of it reading a webcomic megatokyo and saw the banner, i was dead bored and finally caught up reading it and decided to see what the banner was about, this was a few days before the rubber chickens were released. been an addiction ever since :) interested to hear how others stumbled on this game and got addicted :-k my site(not much on it yet :p)

March 5, 200719 yr my brother showed it to me at the beginning of the game in classic and i played it once... never caught onto me.... till shortly before the release of rs2 when my friend resparked my interest... and rs2 was released on my birthday =) The world is full of self proclaimed experts who really don't know what they are talking about.

March 5, 200719 yr My friend showed my brother, then my bro showed me the game. We all got addicted to RuneScape and I passed both of them up in one week. They were both level 12 and I was level 30, lol. Then I got banned after 2 years of playing (was level 91), for breaking Rule 7 and some of Rule 1 (the words I said I didn't even know they were closely offensive). Now I have a new account, level 81. Took me 7 months to make, lol.

March 5, 200719 yr I was playing a lot of multiplayer browser based games about 6-7 years ago and was on the hunt for something new. I found http://www.mpog.com/ which had a great list. Most of the games I played before RS are gone now... like Planetarian and Imperial Conflict :(
