I read the German, and only speak English when I don't understand or can't translate. The German players are friendly and correct my mistakes. I love it there. The "Engish Only" garbage is tiresome, though. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. But almost everyone I talked to either couldn't speak german or wouldn't talk at all. Although I found that the few players that could were very friendly and very helpful. brave Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 IMO the life of the "German" servers will be very short as having particular servers for only a relatively small market is a waste of Jagex's precious resources. What I expect to see eventually is all servers supporting many languages for the game narratives etc. and you just select the language of your choice when you log in. If people who didn't speak German couldn't go there, it would be very unfair because people who could speak German would have an extreme advantage, a world with 5 people in it. Eventually the German worlds will become as full as the rest of the worlds, then the people who don't speak German will go back to an English world because it's a lot easier to understand what you're reading and it would be the same amount of competition.
