Signature changes and a reminder !!

Greetings all,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We'd like to inform everyone there has been a change in the signature rules.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To start with:

 

 

 

Poképlushies are now limited to one in signatures.

 

 

 

They were tolerated in the past, but they aren't anymore. Too many users abused them.

 

 

 

While a lot of them were within the signature rules, a lot (if not most) broke the limits when they hatched.

 

 

 

We can't keep removing them. The staff isn't around to babysit Poképlushies in signatures.

 

 

 

So again: Poképlushies (and other similar things) are now limited to one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another signature change is: signatures no longer have picture limits.

 

 

 

In the past, you could only have a maximum of four pictures, this has been removed.

 

 

 

Please note: The total size of all your signatures has to remain within the rules!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you all about the limits and how to calculate it:

The 50 odd pokeplushies/dragon eggs etc. were annoying me a lil, so i'm glad they're been limited.

The no limit on amount of images is quite nice too :)

Hmm, those dragon cave things were annoying me so. Good that they were limited.

This reminds me of how they banned pokeman cards at school & other trading card games.

Can't believe the internet has come to that low.

If you mean emotes in your signature then as long as they're purely the ones included on the forum and you don't use too many of them they're fine, one or two in your signature (Assuming you an image in your signature) is perfectly fine, don't see why you'd need many more than that anyway.

Remember everyone to check your signatures and avatars, I've seen an increase in reports of bad signatures/avatars recently.

Remember that Tip.It doesn't resize your avatar when you upload it, so check it before hand.

good update. those things were getting annoying, especially with people asking in the sig's to "Click on it to feed it". also the Multi Image is great. :

This is my thought and not that of staffs:

I would love to ask that people do not slam on the plushy things, as they where annoying to some they are precious to others. Rude comments on them can be hurtful to other users. ;-)

Raising them 1 at a time will be interesting for plushy raisers as it will bring more of a challenge. Have fun, and as mentioned watch them to make sure they do not oversize your sig! A good hint would to be make your sig around a full sized one that way when they hatch you are withing signature rules. :thumbup: :thumbup:

I have been trying and trying (....) to get a goal signature and it just sits there when i hit tip me.

It never actually loads and the thing crashes? What is up with that? :cry:

its not an plushie or one of those. its basically a scroll about the size of a sig that has a pic of every dragon you have on it, but the dragons don't grow or change until you update it so it doesn't go over the sig limits. is that still allowd since it doesn't go over the sig limit?

As long as the image doesn't break our signature rules then it's absolutely fine.

The reason we resticted them to only 1 was because they grew and took up more space.

they do not grow and isn't updated unless you get a new code so it won't interfere with the sig limits

It's currently above 130kb in size, so it's not suitable at the moment unless you can lower the filesize.

Yes if you can get the filesize less than 100kb then it's fine.

I am unable to Preview or Submit any changes that I make to my signature atm... what's wrong? :cry:
