Do You Play a Musical Instrument? Which One?

So... yeah.

Do you play a musical instrument?

Have you ever played one?

Which one?

Or do you prefer singing?

I've played a cornet for about 2 years now.

What about you?

Forgive my ignorance, but whats a cornet?

I play the guitar, mostly heavy metal/alt. prog rock music.

digital keyboard. Lighted keys FTW.

I played the flute for most of my childhood.

Since then I've leared the drums.

Now I'm looking at the guitar maybe...

a cornet is a trumpet like instrument. i think its a bit deeper right?

I used to play the violin for 5/6 years, didn't really enjoy it though. I'm interested in playing the piano though.

Pretty much what I do. I get pieces of jazz and blues to learn from my guitar tutor but most stuff I teach myself is rock/ metal.

The difference that I learned between a Cornet and a Trumpet is that the Cornet is smaller, and also better for playing Jazz.

I used to play the saxaphone from 6th-12th grade. :)

Used to play the trombone, now I play guitar.

Classical guitar for about 10 years, electric for about 3. I've taught myself on the electric but it's not too hard if you've been taught some form of guitar. I've stopped having lessons on the classical now though, ironically I practice more though now.

I've played the keyboard since 2001 and am now sitting at grade 5/6.

I also play the clarinet, since 2003 and am at the same grade as my keyboard. I've taken standard grade music, I'm not awful at it but so many terms to learn. Inventing is fun. :P

I've been playing electric guitar for a couple of years. Mostly metal but sometimes funkish stuff.

I used to learn piano and clarinet. been thinking about learning guitar for a while now, but not really had the time..

instead my GF got me guitar hero 2 for my birthday lol.. dont need guitar lessons now :D

i played drums for about 5 years

Guitar, bass, drums. I like recording and mixing the three instruments together to make it sound like a whole 8-)

Clarinet. I was inspired by Spongebob Squarepants in 5th grade. :oops: This is my fifth year playing.

Drums.

I play piano, most gothic music.

Guitar, bass, vocals, a little drums, I can play the Sad But True riff on the banjo, Mary Had a Little Lamb and Oh Suzanna on the violin :D. And who knows what else :-k. But I mostly play guitar and bass for my band.

Guitar, bass, euphonium, trumpet, trombone, tuba.

Methinks I play too much music :-w
