Some newish stuff

I really need an internship.

Anywho, more port updates.

I also got 81 fletching. Gotta go get that last thieving level I want, then 70 dungeoneering.

Until next time.

I am Jesus.

While nothing is real life happened, no much in RS went down. Got a regular voyage with 1 ancient bone. So I took it. And...

In the words of MJ, who's bad?!

but hey, some of us from HYT Chat found something funny.

And we didn't suffer desert effects while on water. Eventually a penguin came by. Me and Goon tired to herb it and after a few minutes (and Goon quitting), I finally got it on water.

Just enough time to screenie it.

Until next time.

So, last night I send a ship out for a scrimshaw scroll piece. I've had 4 or 5 missions including that one, 1 I tried a t 82% but failed. This time, using a bit of boost I got 90%. This morning before heading off to work I got some good news.

[hide]1outof4scroll_zps49e59af7.png[/hide]

Yeah man, you know what that means...onwards to 85 fletching. Current levels stand as such:

In other news, a side from a Spanish test that was easier than I expected, today I went to a career fair. In my never ending quest to secure a future I put my pride and crappy GPA on the line. Yeah, I know my GPS is horribad, but considering how much work I did to bring it up, and my major GPA of nearly a 3.1, I thought I had a chance. I saw about 6 companies there who either encouraged all majors to apply or were looking for economics majors. Capital One went as expected so I intend to apply online with them. Chase/J.P Morgan shot me down quick due to my GPA but that's okay. I dislike them anyway. Northwestern Mutual, Huntington Bank and Enterprise Holdings seemed really relaxed so I'm glad I take to them. They took my info said I'd be contacted in a few days if I qualify, and encouraged me to apply online. I'm hoping Northwestern turns out good s they are in Chicago and are close to what I NOW KNOW what I want to do.

Later today I went to my Undergraduate Economics Society meeting where they had two people working in the Baird regional private wealth management firm come by (President is their intern). And you know what...I was really happy I went. The guys who talked to use were really friendly and fed us a lot of important information. And they helped me distinguish a lot of the job out there in the investment industry. After the meeting I asked the older gentleman a few questions and he gave me a business card. Now more than ever, it is time to start networking.

Chase shooting me down without any consideration hurt my confidence, but by talking with the rep from Northwestern Mutual, going to my UES meeting and learning that I wanted to be a private wealth manager, I've got some of my confidence back. I plan to learn a bit of networking (to refresh my memory of course) and keep in contact with this guy to try and get my foot in the door. And with a bit more confidence I feel more prepared for next week's career fair (unless chase is there :-|).

Welp, until next time.

So...it's been a while since I posted an entry. Thou I do have some good news in real life and Runescape.

So about some months ago we got robbed. Thieves broke into our apartment, stole some stuff and right before my brother got home from school. They event took our laundry bags to carry all our things in. I lost some sentimental things (games really), and for our safety mom got an alarm system that day. Well the thieves came back to finish the job Wesnesday afternoon while we were away. Tsk, they must have thought they had 99 thieving or something. Thanks to our alarm nothing was taken, but this prompted us to finally get the hell out of the ghetto. That same day my mom applied to a much nicer apartment near our uncle in the next neighborhood(nicer neighborhood considering college student live there), and we got the apartment! (or is it a condo)

Our current place has cracked kitchen tiles (we replaced them twice), we had to lay our own hardwood floor since the carpet was crap after so long (they did not reimburse us), the back screen door stays broken (we fixed it nearly every summer), cold in the winter and hot in the summer (someone called downtown this winter so now they are forced to provide minimum heat :-|), back stairs are always icy and we have no key to our back gate (hope there is no fire...), washer and dry downstairs haven't worked for years, and our apartment front door is broken. Let me just rant here on the last point for a minute.

Stupid maintenance keeps changing the lock when we keep telling them it's not the lock. Are they [bleep]in' stupid? They break the lock on the door, then try to fix some new lock on it and it never fits right. Our current lock is brand new; I mean fresh out the factory new and it looks like someone forced a blunt object into the damn top edge and forced it almost lose. Like, what the hell! My key only works half the time, so God forbid I come home late and my mother is sleep. But what, there's more! If I just kick the door hard enough it'll open. If it wasn't for my mother [bleep]in' at the stupid mother[bleep]s our apartment door wouldn't have been fix properly with two locks. Not that it matters because Dumb and Dumber got in again.

But our new home! Washer and dryer in the unit, a dish washer, fireplace, jacuzzi, and assigned parking space (thou we have no car). And because it is really just no more than 2 blocks from my mothers job, a coffee shop on the corner! (Somebody say church!) I never have to go to the laundromat again, unless it's for large items, and we don't live on the top floor. I am really happy.

As for Runescape, I am still without a quest cape and my skill under 70 are dung and thieving. But it's all good, because I have 90 herblore, which mean...PLAYER OWNED PORTS!

That's right, I've been doing pop sense it came out. At first, just the D&D, but I worked my way to 90 herblore (somehow) and since getting my level I've been sailing the high seas looking for bounty and booty. Having pop access forces me to get 90 in some skill and get even higher leveled than I am now. I was looking into 90 fishing for monkfish while I save up for 92 prayer; however, I was told I could get 1 - 99 thieving in 43 hours. Not sure if I can crank out even 5 hours at a time in Pyramid Plunder, but I'm hoping I can. Based on this 99 in 43 hours, you'd have to earn on average 124.4k exp to get 1 - 90. It's hard to calculated since the exp per hour at 61 thieving is different than at 81 thieving but using this elementary math I suppose I can get it in 35 hours (38.4 as calculated).

Right now, I'm searching for scrimshaws. I'll need 85 fletching for that, and since 85 and 90 herblore (+ boost) will get me an eee I'll be working on those skill with weekend questing. Once I get 70 thieving I'll force myself to dungeoneering and 80+ in all skills but construction (too much money), then pop skills. But I've pretty much got a lot of 80+ skill already.

Good thing today is Friday eh? Until next time.

Meh

Because I am extremely lazy I haven't been posting. Thou, to be honest nothing exciting has happened in my life for me to blog anyway.

So finals are almost here. Next Thursday to be exact. I have 3 papers I haven't started yet due on Dec 7th and 12th (yay :|) and two exams. I'm not looking forward to either of them, but I'm almost at the finish line. Gotta power by.

As far a runescape goes, Jad has bested me 10 times, thou I failed not because I couldn't prayer switch, but because I ran out of prayer points. 2 hit ko ftw! So before I even think about another jad, I have to repair my barrows and weapons, and buy supplies. Oh did i mention I'm broke. Ah well, maybe I'm not suppose to have a Fire Cape.

So until I decide to give him another go, I'll be questing and working on the 70+ in slayer, theiving, and smithing. Oh and dung.

Maybe something will happen tomorrow that I'll blog about. *shrug*

In my last entry I said I would attempt to kill nomad and get the fire cape. The goal was to do it before EoC, as I've heard both task are easier there. Now, I don't wanna be like those cry baby vet who are like "Your cape is invalid because [insert poorly supported reason here]" but having been closse to the cape twice before, I feel I should really be able to do it! Plus I want the experience of taking on nomad for myself the way everyone else has for a while.

Good news is, I killed nomad! Bad news is, I failed at the caves twice. I have enough for one more attempt (I could get more but at that point I might use an insta-kill dart or just wait for eoc), so I will try this evening once I finish studying. as for my Dominion Tower goals, not sure if I should bother getting them now. My dream was to be able to Falcon Punch Waterfiend with Goliath Gloves. But with the changes to the gloves I don't think I should care to do dt so much. Sure there are other great prizes but my main incentive is well, no more.

Or is it no more? I have a new found enjoyment for dungeoneering. Thanks to that handy update I earn more exp, tokens, and dungeoneering doesn't feel so painful now that I have binds for each style. This probably devalues some players with 99/120 dung but to be honest, solo dung rates sucked. But thanks to this handy update I might actually dung a lot more...for a rapier?! Oh yes. I failed to do 1k tokens a day when I said I first would but now I feel I can spend a day doing dungeoneering and make ignificant progress to a weapon, by myself. So for a short term goal, I want to get the none combat scrolls, acrance steam neckalce, and bonecrusher. But long term, I'm looking at a rapier (not sure if cmaul = verac's flail like I heard or trolling). and good news, I already got a scroll of life! I is gud farmer nao! :3

The journey to a quest cape continues. Just not today since I can't log in (jagex's fault).

Until next time.

So I've blogged in weeks because I'm a loser and lazy. I've been mostly doing school work and runescape whenever I can. anywho, I'm still working on my goal of 80+F2P skills/70+ P2P skill and I'm getting there, thou I've decided to just get 70+ for now in all skills. All my P2P goal except theiving, slayer, and fletch is met with dung and smithing being the only F2P left. I'll likely hold off on dung for as long as possible but meh. I've also decided I should become a quest cape noob since I do enjoy quest rewards. In my last post I mentioned something about Dominion Tower and getting in. Well, I did it. Having reached that fabled boss land I will now attempt to earn Goliath gloves. I need a whoile lost more quest which include Nomad. Not looking for to him.

anywho, I don't feel like much of a post today but tomorrow I'll try to be more into my blog.

Until next time

An update

So...I haven't been blogging at all. Not that my life is exciting in the least bit, but I'm keeping my readers uninformed. But here’s a little more about my life.

Sunday, the south part of campus resident hall flooded. To my knowledge, it had something to do with a water main break. So of course students living on that part of campus had to evacuate their resident halls and as of now, students are sleep in our recreational facility, the RPAC. Now, I’m not a south campus resident but the water main break did effect me a bit. Sadly, the resident hall water system is all centrally connected. And because the water pressure is all jacked up, I had no shower for that night/morning. No one did. I’m not so sure about West/Central Campus (which is just two towers located near the RPAC) but North Campus residents had to go the RPAC and use their showers.

I say, it’s not very fun waking up at 5am in morning to get a nice shower, which doubled sucked because I am responsible for opening the on campus office I work at on Mondays at 8am. Today, however; showers are a bit better. Thou, you’d have to take a quick shower to have some hot water at least I can get some clean water from my sink now. Hopefully everything will be cleaned up by tomorrow.

As for my Runescape life, well I failed at dungeoneering. I truly hate the skill but I know it’s only because I’m not good, and I dislike the experience rates I get. I’ll have to work on getting to floor 35 so my prestige can net me some good experience. And I’ll have to learn to group dungeoneer so I can just rush earlier floors and get by 35 floors in great time. One of these days I pop into the EOE chat a dung with a few of them to learn.

I also failed at 50k hunter experience a day. School requires a lot while I find time to log on I have 10,000 other things I wanna do. I have to decide if it’s better for me to quest or level. So for the most part I just do the Hunter D&D when I remember.

So I’ve decided it’s probably in my best interest to do as many quest as I can and do slayer while farming. With the coming EOC on the way the more I find out, the more my interest change. Simply put I’ve hearing that chaotics are now only marginally better. Marginally. I remember A Local Guy mentioning that Goliath gloves now tie as the best 2 handed weapon in the game with the Chaotic Maul. So time before that someone mentioned a Vine Whip is the next best substitute for a rapier (despite two different attack styles). While I do want a rapier I’m better of doing slayer for now.

So I’m gonna be working on a series of quest to get into Dominion Tower and get 85 attack/80 slayer. Considering I have only 77 attack, it seems like a long way. But with 12 of 20 quests needed to get in I’ll still need 81 attack/strength to get 110 combat. I might as well go for it through slayer. The weekends when I have more time can be spent doing a bit of dung. I still need a few scrolls and other item even if I don’t get a rapier.

Until next time

Well, school is no joke. Since OSU witched to semester I’ve been forced to enroll in 4 courses to stay a fulltime student. Normally I’d be upset. I tried a 4 class load before and it was horrible. But lucky for me a semester is about 15 weeks and classes are a tad longer. 4 and 3 days a week classes are about an hour while the 2 days a week classes are an hour and 20 minutes. Lab are still long 2 hours or more, but hopefully I’d wouldn’t have to deal with that. But with school here and work study in most my days, RS playing will decrease by a bit. It’s likely to become a weekend thing.

80defence.png

Speaking of RS I got 80 defense thanks to a long black dragon slayer task, and a few white knights to chew up a bit of exp. Along with all that and 2 quest came 57 agility, 46 hunter, 76 attack, 79 constitution, and a 105 combat. Now only 5 more combat levels, and 10 quests to go until Dominion Tower.

Much to my disappointment, I have done any dungeoneering, which means it will take longer to get 80 Dung and chaotics. While I can wait (quest are more important right now) I’ll be mighty jealous going monster hunting with friends with chaotics. But 200k tokens don’t seem far away one day at a time.

I also want to lvl hunter as high as possible, so 50k exp a day a play seems possible to get there quickly. I mostly 74 hunter (70 just to get to herblore habitat). At that lvl I can get supplies to make farming boost. In my never ending quest to make money, getting this lvl would boost profits by a lot.

Until next time.

It's been a while since I've updated this blog. And that's been due to lack of interest in the blog or laziness. That will pick up sometime when school starts. Speaking of which, in about 2 weeks I will be headed off to my first day classes. I will be laving home August 16th, then helping students move in August 19th. With so little time left I'm actually neverous going in to my senior year. I got a lot to work on...

I've also been playing a leveling and questing. I completely failed at my mining task of 90. Mining gets pretty boring in the long run, and the exp difference between level is horrible. But I guess that's the joy of getting a 99, knowing you punched through 1m exp + to get there. With that said i'll be doing a lot of quest. I figure questing will force me to level and give valuable exp. So my goals still stand. 70+ P2P/80+ F2P levels.with mining being the first I met, I'm looking at defense and farming being second.

Lastly, I've decided to stay P2P permentaly. In the back of my mind I knew this, but I didn't think P2P would have so much I'd enjoy. I'm pretty sure some months I would be able to pay for membership but overall, I plan to stay as P2P. So while P2P i will quest and do slayer. I also need to earn 1k dungeoneering tokens a day for chaotics, but quest are more important now.

When RS come back online, I'll up all the skills I level'd.

Updatedskills4.png

I can solo KBD and duo Kal. Queen successfully!

Grow snapdragon for profit!

Use a terrorbird for monster hunting.

Until next time

I seriously regret my idea to study Biology over the summer. I am finding it realy hard to do and to be honest, I'm behind. the subject in the first section is so boring and I'm moving throught it slow. I can only catch up if I first two weeks or material in one or add and extra chapter to each week of study. I really don't wanna take this class at school and knowing I can't transfer community college credit over, this is the only way. The next 5 weeks are gonna hurt. But I gotta grind now.

70range.png

65prayer.png

Other than going to the beach and lvl up nothing much has happened. as to my goal I'm all over the place. Still haven't went back to mining, instead I've decided to get 70 prayer and do all the quest/minigames that will get me piety. I had just enough money to buy big bones for 70 prayer, thou I should have saved up for dragon bones. But somehow i'm getting away with doing a mix of both and I have about 900k left over. I suppose I should thank the bones I already had in my bank that I was saving and slayer. In any event, having 70 prayer would make monster hunting a ot easier as I can bless gravetones and with piety, I can increase my hits. A relief considering my terrible stats for monster hunting. I'm currently at 68 prayer, with enough b bones/d bones to get me there. If not I'l have to diy and kill some dragons. Which is fine since I need the cash anyway.

Until next time, happy 'scaping...

For the past three day Chicago has had triple digit degree weather. Today was 103. By tomorrow afternoon, however; it should cool down. Other than the hot weather I had a pretty fun weekend with my boyfriend. Since by brother and mother were out of town I refused to sit at home alone most the day. Friday I went over his house and watched 2 horror movie (one of which was also a comedy, thou both were funny >:D) Saturday we went to a family BBQ and Sunday we went to the Shedd Aquarium and I took plenty of fish pics. We stood in line 2 hours and it rained as we were walking there. being the broke college kids we are we only had general admission, but a nice older couple visiting the city gave use tickets to the aquatic show and wrist bands that got us into all the exhibits. That was really cool of them. Because I couldn't use flash (or should not have been) so pics came out odd but I got to see the new jelly fish exhibit they had.

In runescape I've been slacking big time. Prior ro 81 mining me and a few HYT chatter tried to do Bandos, with me as the tank. I went horrible, but I lived. I was then well on my way to 81 mining when I was asked to go to Zammy God Wars. So I've stopped mining to do slayer in hopes of raising my range to 70. We'd need a tank and I was sure they'd unreasonable make me do it. Instead we went to Chaos Elemental but I died after getting hammered badly.

Nonetheless I got 52 slayer and 77 defense. I don't know how far I'll go, but I've started doing farming again. I'm just farming herbs not make money because eventually I'll start fletching and construction. I also need money for nature runes when I start super heating.

Lastly, I bought a 90 day RS card. they ucked me in with the flaming skull that they did. So I'll be P2P for an extra month.

Until next time

God must have heard my prayer in my post, because it rained the next day, even if it was just for a few minutes. And since then it has been cool and comfortable. However, I heard on the news that it would be hot, even today. I have yet to feel the heat and I'm hoping it doesn't come until Sunday.

As far as real life goes, my life is not as exciting. I basically exercise (or attempt to), study biology, and runescape. However, I plan for it to pick up. My boyfriend and I had came up with a list of things to do this summer before i go back to school and when intend on doing 1/3 of that list. Some of the ideas are things we regularly do, but other thing like live concerts and stuff are new. If things go according to plan, I will be busy every weekend this summer.

In runescape I got a few levels and done a few quest. 40 agility, 42 Construction, 76 Constitution,61 Magic and access to Ancient Magicks. I still need 70 magic and/or 55 slayer to try some new techniques for Barrows before the Combat Beta messes it up. And speaking of Combat Beta...

CombatBetaemail.png

I am a bit surprised I got in as one of the lucky 50,000. My clanmate who is also a members is kinda jealous. H e assume he won't see me for the next two months. and while it's true I'll be in the beta for a bit, I still have other goal to get. Still, I'm pretty excited. I tested it out for a few days since and it's a totally new experience...

As far as mining goes, I've been slacking. I am 79 mining now, but I felt like I was gonna burn out, so I went to do other stuff. Now I have to get back in the game. I hope I can go from 79 mining to 85. With almost 1.5 million exp to go, I'd take me about 15 days to reach it getting 100k exp a day or 12 if I strive for 125k exp a day. So in two to three weeks time I'll start slayer then go for the big 90.

It is really hot in Chicago.

Complaining about the weather doesn't really solve the problem, but how many summer must I go in this heat? 90 degrees outside feels like 95 in my apartment, and the lack of a air conditioner that can run with the TV on is bothersome. In bed, in the kitchen, on the back porch, anywhere is like hell. I need someone to save me from this heat, I need rain.

Aside from the heat, I've started summer school. Okay, not really. More like, I've started to self study Biology. My plan is to student over break then test out come the first week of school, Reviewing how Chemistry and Physics 2 went, I was to avoid taking a science lab class with other courses not GECs. Hopefully it will work out for me. Last thing I wanna do is get to my last semester and panic over a biology grade.

LRC.png

77Mining.png

In RS I actually made 78 mining thanks in large part to LRC. While sitting on world 77 it become almost AFK-able, so 100k exp a day is now a reasonable amount. It sucks I have to run RS in min settings and I could very well die here even with armor. But ignoring those problems LRC is pretty sweet. So much so, I actually boosted to lvl 77 to mine the coal down there, so much so my combat stats were in the single digits at one point (8 across). I must have drank like 55 Dwarven Stouts. Very dangerous, but worth it. Aside from watching bots die, I actually made 43 thieving and 76 defense while doing the barrows minigame. Being 19k from a constitution lvl, I hope I can hit at the same time I grab an attack lvl since I'm 42k from there.

I've also been questing, the sole purpose of it to get rewards, one in particular. I actually enjoy Barrows a lot, so to make it profitable and easier I'm working to a Draken necklace (?) and Ancient magic.

In any event, I hope tomorrow in cooler. Probably won't thou.

And as always, please post.

I just first wanna say that nothing feels better than busting out in Queens "We are the Champions" after final. I admit, I didn't do too well on my Money and Banking final (most of time was spend on Macroeconomics), but I passed all my classes and my GPA went up a tiny bit. This fall, I'll hit the ground running...

With school out the way and only biology to student before the fall, I'll have a lot more RS time. so when I'm not chillin' with friends, studying, or exercising, I'll be scapin'. after getting the initial "WOW" out the way I've decided to go back to my original plans, sorta. I find it easier to mine in the dungeoneering resource dung on a members world than a F2P. Plus, there is a deposit box so close I think getting 65k coal will be a bit easier. so I've decided to mine until 90 which is about 65k coal and 35k iron. I'll then be able to smith my ores and get 80 smithing without urns. To break up the bore that comes with it I'll do herb runs from time to time, and construction. I figure it's possible to get a lvl every 1 or 2 days so I hope I'll get done in a month. Plus I really want 55 construction for a armor stand. I play Barrows a lot since I can do it by myself, and it's relatively easy to do so long as you have prayer.

I also made it a point to get a certain summoning lvl, 52 to be exact. I took a peek around the AOW in the forums and found Kent's summoning guide. after reading and trying it I decided to do his advance method. So after mining all my coal I'll likely break and do a lot of slayer to gain charms for summoning. Doing slayer will allow me to also work on my range or defence, thou I've found I like doing attack too. I also found that using XP lamps toward summoning will help. Lastly, I'll be do 1 quest a week, probably on the weekend. that way, I can access dungeons/earn some pretty useful tool towards monster hunting. And of course, exp is wonderful.

So in summary: Mining to 88 > Slayer to 60 > Mining to 90 > Slayer to 65 > Smithing 35k steel bars > Slayer to 70

Inbetween: Construction 55, herb collecting to get to herblore 60+. Weekend questing.

My ultimate goal for now is to get 70+ in all P2P skills and 80+ in all F2P. For now those skills are mining, smithing, farming, herblore, slayer, summoning (Fletching only after mining/smithing). I only decided to do construction so I can use my own armor stand and host small house parties :D. Thou, 55 construction isn't necessary since I can go to the house party world and fix armor there. I think I can do it.

Updatedskills3.png

...in members. I mean, wow. I know it will get boring after I finish all the quest and get 65+ stats, but wow. There is just so much to do. This game is jammed pack with content that I think, justifies it's cost 9in terms of money).

So for my first week of members I did skill and monster hunting. I had planned to do a lot quest, but I forgot just how much some quest can suck. Fremennik Trials was fun, but long... and got frustrating. But the real frustrating part wasn't the quest, it was the monster hunts. I died 5 time since monster hunting and tele'd out of danger so many times you'd think I was Houdini. I tried God Wars, Dagannoth Kings, Kalphite Queen, Barrows, Giant Mole, and King Black Dragon. Sadly, I can only do the last three without failure (KBD in a group only).

I also fell in love Farming and Herblore and I have a strong desire to do Summoning. I just hate that I have to do combat to get those charms. And the places are pretty cool too.

So, my plans about earn 99s as a F2P, out the window. I have accidentally earned exp in every F2P skill but cooking and Runecrafting. So that plan is done. But you know what, it's okay.

Aside from P2P excitement, I have final coming up, so I have to study. I'll be playing a lot less, doing only herb runs for study breaks. Hope finals go well. Anywho, happy 'Scaping. I'm gonna go try Construction now.

Updatedskills2.png

Jagex is a troll. A very evil troll. Today had plans to log on and do dungeon and mining when I was "informed" I qualify for 2 week free members trial. Now in two weeks I was gonna go members. I also remember the last time they informed me, I today them I was not ready, and I never saw that pop up again. So since I was going to do it soon, I figured I'd go ahead and tell them yes. It's free, and while finals are coming up, I don't expect it to distract me anymore than it already does. Besides, I'm a 7 year player. They kinda owe me.

Anywho, I didn't mine yestrday but I did some dungeoneering (ang this morning while bored as hell too), thou I forget to get a sceenshot everytime I lvl up. I also un exceptedly lvled up fishing while there. I was a little quicker on that one.

Gonna update my plans for what I plan to do in members later. Maybe. Actually i think I'm gonna nap then do some more reading for class. I am really tired.

Finals are coming up soon as I now have just two more weekends before I grind the entire week of final towards passing my classes. So far I am passing with thou I know I can do better. So while I still attempt to mine 1k coal a day, I won't be surprised if I failed to do so. I have the level I need to make chaos runes when I go members in about 2 weeks, but I will use the AFK time I have to getting 75 runecrafting since at 74 I can get x2 the chaos runes. Sadly, it seems I won't be getting 80 mining soon, nor will I get 80 Defense before going members. I will attempt to avoid leveling combat in members, as I want to try to get some skills the F2P way. However, I realize that is almost impossible unless I stay F2P forever. Oh well.

I'm still thinking about what to do as a member for my short time. For now it will be doing quest, fletching, runecrafting chaos runes, herblore, and farming. I am undecide on minigames, but since my rune armor my not be enough for some quest, I will looking into the Barbarian Assualt minigame for that armor set, at the least. I don't know much about member armors (as the information is overwhelming). I should do some careful research and ask a question on forum when I get a little more free time.

Zombies>Dragons

HvZ.jpg

It's okay if you don't know what these headbands mean. But right now, the most nerdy thing has interrupted my life. I'm talking about Humans Verse Zombies, aka HvZ. Explaining HvZ here would take a while, so I encourage my readers (which to my knowledge is just Kaida) to read all about it on Wiki if they wanna know what it is about. I am actually happy about this game. At first, I wasn't gonna play, but I signed up at the last minute and then willingly died to become a zombie. KILL ALL HUMANS!

On another note, I totally forgot steel bars require 2 coal ores. In any event I mine 2k for my friend, but with steel prices dropping I don't know how he's gonna make a lot of money.

I was also planning to mine to 80, or 35k irons ores, or 35k coal. But after losing a duel to a clan mate with 68 range, I decided to break and do some range. So 60 range, 80 mining, then 80 defense. And by the way.

75Mining.png

So I haven't update this for a while since right after my midterm, I went into preparing for my paper for my African-American Lit class, which disappointingly, I didn't really hit the grind on until this weekend. However, during my a little over the week long absence I've gain a lot of lvls. Thanks to the firemaking update, woodcutting/fire making has taken the place of runecrafting. In any event here is a slightly updated track of my lvls.

Updatedskills.png

Defense: 72 --> 75 (actual)

Constitution: 72 --> 73

Prayer: 49 --> 51

Magic: 52 --> 55

Runecrafting: 64 --> 70

Dungeoneering: 38 --> 45 (Actual)

Mining: 74 (Just got it today)

Fishing: 70 --> 73

Cooking: 69 --> 72

Firemaking: 52 --> 65 (actual, Just got it today)

Woodcutting: 52 --> 64 (same)

It is arguable easier for me to get lvls below 65 than above it. But I will still celebrate my higher lvls anyway, even if they are low.

I was also planning to go to 80 Defense; I had changed my training method and moved down the monster food chain to fighting Moss Giants. I can canoe up there and kill twice as many or more, with the same inventory of food than Greater Demons. And I get more runes, especially with the chaos rune spawn there. However, a RS friend (honestly, I met him while Dungeoneering and again AFKing WC/FM) got hacked and lost some expensive rune armor. Without any money he asked me for help; I told him he should mine and smelt steel bars since he has just enough lvls to do so already. I told him to get 1k steel bars and sell them, convinced he can get at least 1k iron in a day. Long story short he begged me to mine the coal. So I will likely take a break for combat and do it... at least I get half of whatever profit he brings in.

With that said I've updated my shopping list

Swordfish Gloves

D'hide Coif

Rune Berserker Shield

Rune Gauntlets

Coal Bag

Longbow Sight

Arcane Blast Necklace

Yeah, I added stuff. But considering I've been doing better at Solo Dungeoneering I'll likely get those last three item first. I mean, I still suck at it, but instead of an hour and 30 minute dungeon crawl, I now do a 30 sometimes 40 minute jog. In any event, with my African-American Lit paper's due date coming up soon, I'll have to AFK more skills. But when I get the coal bag (probably today), I'll start mining to lvl 80. I technically only 35k iron to get there (I think). But since my smithing needs help I'll likely do steel. I can even high alch the platebodies and get magic exp. Yay! I can live with doing 1k a day iron/coal over the course of a month or so. And the hobgoblin mine isn't to bad since few people show up up to the wild these days.

Oh yeah! If you want, join my friend chat and talk to me! Polarbearblu

EDIT: I am considering leaving my current clan and I'll be going mems in June, because I really wanna do more quest and try the members skills. Plus if I train fletching and runecraft a lot of chaos runes, when I go back to F2P, I won't have to worry to much about getting those when I do Magic/Range. Of course I always could mine/smelt for profit.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

So this Monday I had a Money and Banking midterm. I was pretty sure I did really good. But then I checked my grades and test statistics this morning and found I have a tentative B in the class. This is not good. I made my work load light so I could bust out As this quarter, a finally get a 4.0 quarter GPA. But with this B staring me in the face I have to ace my final to get an A-. How did I let this happen?! I had been paying attention in class. We reviewed with our TA and I knew 90% of the stuff we reviewed. And since this class is actually interesting to me, I honestly felt like I was learning, and thus I didn't need to do heavy studying for the midterm. I must have not studied enough. I should have spent more than 2 days studying. Hmm... or maybe it was that last chapter I didn't study well enough. Some of the multiple choice question did throw me off. I kept getting confused about moral hazard and adverse selection. So I know I probably got 3 out of the 30 multiple choice question wrong. Or more...

While I'm happy I'm passing, I have to now go in to overdrive mode. I need that A-. My GPA depends on it. My life depends on it! Damnit! It's enough Macroeconomics is boring, but now I have to study 10x for Money and Banking. Well, at least I like this class.

In Runescape...

[hide=]Stopquitting.png[/hide]

FOG went a little better today. I developed a tactic to help me get more charges and last longer thanks to the FOG guild in the AOW. However, it's really starting to bug me when my opponents quit on me. 1669 to 0 charges doesn't mean I'm awesome. It means my opponent got upset and bailed after calling me all types of names (noob would have been a complement). Actually, I guess that does make me better. But still, the games aren't fun anymore if you quit! Stop quitting. Man (or woman) up and play the damn game and try.

[hide=]RC64.png[/hide]

In other news I got 64 runecrafting before my computer decided to lag on me. Pity. And I was get 30 - 39, maybe 40 FPS since the new update (45 - 50 on lightly populated places in Runespan and 50 anywhere else not FOG, GOP, or the likes). Now I can only turn out 1 - 9 FPS, with 9 being lucky. Guess that means it's time to rest.

In Runescape...

[hide=]Lvl72Def.png

constitution72.png[/hide]

Today I was suppose to get swordfish glove after getting those levels and fish until I caught 1000 swordfish. But the problem was, I never really had the tokens to actually buy the gloves. So my plan was to play enough FOG rounds to buy them. Now, I'm no FOG MVP, but I win most of my games, if not for my FOG, then for my combat skills. But today I got really frustrated. In short, I probably played 7 or 8 matches, and lost 3 of them. 2 because my opponent was better, and one because I got kicked out and it got flagged as a forfeiture. And of the games I did win, it was by a margin of 1120 to 720 charges, or something similar. I hardly got above 1200 charges, and I felt as if my skill level suck. At 52 magic I could hardly hybrid and had to hope my bind kept them still long enough to attack. So needless to say, I didn't get my gloves. I got 100 more tokens to go. Which mean it's gonna be long way until I get a rune berserker shield.

So I'm taking a break from combat. I'll be doing 10 FOG match each time I start my journey and if I do well, I should earn at least 50 tokens. That way when I do get everything I want, I'll have a reserve of tokens to fall back on. And I'll use this time to train magic. Hybrid, here I come. But for now, I do have a FOG shopping list of things I'd like to get. 750 tokens total. I got a long way to go.

Swordfish Gloves

D'hide Coif

Rune Berserker Shield

Rune Gauntlets

So until I get 200 token for the fishing gloves, I'm gonna runecraft. I actually did do some runecrafting today. When Runespan first opened up I flocked to the site and went for lvl 39 to 50 in a breeze. It was so easy. Today I got 13 more lvls and made it to 63.

[hide=]63RC.png[/hide]

I took to the second biggest island I could access on the middle floor, and I basically camped. Most of the time I wasn't paying too much attention; sort of, by reading Frederick Douglass slave narrative. Who knew the general store in Runescape actually sold these books? Other times I was alert I was racing with a clan member to see who can get lvls faster. I am proud to say I am ahead of him.

I also got pulled in by 2 random events. While they are nice I really wanted to see the Demon Drill Sargent again. I thought I had a good chance too, since everyone else was getting a visit from him. Instead, I got pull in by the quiz master, and was thrown into Evil Bob's jail.

[hide=]Random2.png[/hide]

When I finally hit 63, I decided I would retire for the night. All that hard work wears you out. But before that, I went to the Runecrafting Guild and played 3 rounds in GOP. Tokens are much easier to get here, even when you lose! So I'll likely buy blue Runecrafting robes after obtaining 4000 tokens. And I already have 1075!

In real life...

I read half of the FD slave narrative I am suppose to be reading in class. I'll likely finish the rest tomorrow after class or Karate, or by Monday. It's actually short compared to others so it shouldn't take me long. And it's not a bad read. I reads better than some and is a bit entertaining. Okay, that's the wrong word to use. Um...educational. Yeah, educational. It's very different from Harriet Jacobs "Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl". I just hope I read enough tonight for the class discussion tomorrow. I hat reading and I'm kinda lazy...

However, I will decrease my playing time since I have a midterm next Thursday. In Macroeconomics... Woe is me...

I'm suppose to be playing attention in my Intermediate Macroeconomics class. But, it's whack. Like really. I mean, had I read the chapter before hand, I might know what's going on. So it's of no ones fault but my own. But this guy is pretty boring to me. And his notes are like 20 years old. They aren't even formatted well in the Word documents he's writing them in. But lucky for me, the class isn't intellectually hard. All I have to do is read the chapter and review his notes again to do the homework. And as long as I study, I'll do fine. But seriously. This class sucks.

In any event, here's the stats I promised you guys.

05012012Stats.png

As you can see, not impressive. But since I don't have to go to 40+ wilderness to fight Greater Demons anymore, I plan on starting with combat. I'll try for 99 Defense first. Oh and I almost got 72 Constitution (?), so I'll get Combat lvl 88 after 72 Defense. However, because I insist on gathering my own food, it's likely I'll hit a higher fishing and cooking before then. I have about 200 lobsters left so I'll train combat until they are gone, then head over to FoG to get swordfish gloves.

05012012Equip.png

I should probably get a shield to. But it's the wilderness. I'm honestly to scared to bring anything else too valuable. I have an irrational fear of the wilderness.
