It's like a Runescape you can play with...Outside!
Chatting would be possible via quickchat only on a console. Evey player would have to own/buy said console to continue playing or quit. You would have to pay the consoles fee (xbox live and equivilent for other consoles) and from my experiance, that is going to cost much more per month than RuneScape does. Conclusion: RuneScape population would likely be reduced to 500,000 players at most while WoW would become the cheepest well known alternative in the face of console internet subscription costs. RuneScape would die. Nnow if it became a computer game like WoW is, then you migth see a halt in growth. One of the advantages runescape has is that you don't need to buy a cd and then a month of subscription to see if you like the game. You just get f2p and demo as long as you like, maybe get a head start then get members.

my friend is quitting the game because of monkey madness
I think the monkeys in ardoune are identical to the karamja variety. I thinik its just monkey type, but since almost all the karamka monkeys are on karamja, it is standard practice to use bones only from monkeys on that isalnd.

CLOSE (NOt a suggestion, but got still moved here)
You could even have different parts of the world have different weather. Afteral, it'd be a pretty big rainstorm that went from mortania to trinwan. I always thought it would be cool to have day/night change a few times a day and have monsters be more powerful at night (or some of them) but make the areas close to the roads a safe zone.

Anyone See RuneScape at E3?
Microtransactions could also mean that f2p will not be free for ever. Since it was practicly put in the same sentance as how RS has a free option, I see no link between 'micro transactions' and legal RWT. Jagex already stated that they were not going to do that (I think they did), but they have never promised that f2p will always be free to play. Micro in this sense means '(very) small' (as opposed to the metric meaning as a prfix meaning 10^-6). This could even be taken to mean that there will be a new class of players, the semi-mems, who will pay for parts of members by paying part of the membership fee. The last one is unlikely but still possible. Actualy I might have got it right. Here is the meaning of microtransaction as applied to the internet (the origin of the 'word'). http://www.worldwidewords.org/turnsofphrase/tp-mic2.htm It means charging very small amounts (like a few cents) for each webpage viewed.

Runescape is ruined forever
I was outraged when I first herd about the the trade removal. Thought Jagex had gone nuts. then I wen't to read the updates which explianed it and now I am one of the people who is very happy about the new RS. Maybe you should adapt or die off like eveyone else (learn to play the new game or quit).

Another rant about BH and in-game idiots..
I don't. I didn't even pk and I have still been called every type of noob in the book (my stats were similar to my current ones, and I got called a str noob  ), some people even made up new ones by bashing their fist in anger on the keyboard then hitting enter. Sometimes people just yell jiberish or act their so inebriated I wonder if they could find the bathroom to take a piss if their life depended on it. Not that being called a noob insults me directly or anything. I mean, im the legal gambling age in Canada so I can take more substatial insults than noob. My issue is that I am offended to be a part of the same speciaes as some of the people who pk. Now some of them are truly amazing. Back in 2005, I was mining coal in the skelly mine in the wild. A pk'er comes along, finds me and sees I am being attacked by skellys so I am safe from him. He stood there while I finished my mining knowing I couldn't log, even gave me fair warning "you I am going to kill you", and I responded "and you know I must do everything I can to live". He responded that he expected nothing different, and when I finished mining he bowed and we engaged in combat. I had some food and a rune pick, so it was not long before I had to run back to edgeville. He never insulted me, pm'ed me, or anything. He just wen't back into the wild to find new prey.

Pissed over ADS on F2P - MESSING UP GAME PLAY
The adds need to be there if you're a free person but... what gets me is when I'm a member and I go to f2p why do I have to see the adds? And I do agree with you that the adds are annoying though... mems can go full screen on f2p worlds (I tried during the beta) so you DON'T have to see the ads

Argh, Stupid World Map Button!
Agreed but there are times when people wan't to go to those really obscure places or don't rember where every single thing is in a place like ardounge. But they had to do this for full screen, otherwise you would have to exit full screen just to view the map. Still, since the only place I ever need the world map is when traveling in the wild (so that I have a clue where I am if I need to start running), I now have no help if I get a wildy clue since only a suicidal or unresonably lucky person could dare to open that map in the wild. If I did it, it would probably magicly teleport every Revenant in the wild to my location and withdraw runes from my bank to pay for it #-o

Revenge Stories
Lennin, if you still can maybe you should start appering again, maybe wisper 'I remember' to him. Then end it however. I can see why the sucker punch, it would kinda ruin the revenge if he managed to defend himself in the end.

Ftp Air rune crafting.
This is a good point. Even if tele takes longer, you could use the ring to sustain you run energy and running the tele methos is faster than walking the normal way and you could more than make up the time before you run out of run restores. After the charges and run energy are gone, you can do the normal method. Also, since the run distance is less when teleing, even you normal run energy would last longer, so the restroes might actualy give you 3 times the running time of usual rather than just 2.5 times as much.

Love Tales- How'd you meet your partner?
So this one time at band camp... Seriously though, we did meet at bandcamp. I never no how I meet people, but whenever I am at something like a camp I always manage to make a friend since I never have any with me. She was in the same band I was, and I just sort of became a part of her group of friends. At the end of the week I learned that she wen't to my school (I switched junior highs between grades 7 and 8 and this was that summer). We made an odd couple seeing as she is a very social girl and I am not a social guy. Actualy she made me a much more social person quite quickly. I took her to the grade 9 'semi-grad'. After that we wen't to different schools and the relationship was doomed then. We still see a bit of eachother, and her new boyfriend doesen't mind since he knows I have another relasionship with another girls now anyways. My current girl friend is more like minded and a better match in the end. I am over the girl from band camp, actualy never had to go through the whole breakup ordeal since we stipped dating by mutual unspoken agreement. Oh the stuff that goes on at bandcamp, whoa wee.

Revenge Stories
In grade 7, myself and another friend were bikeing in a park (literaly a camping and picknic park, not some grass field) that was a minute bike from my house. As we left the park, me met some guys who didn't live all that far from me, who were notorius bullys who had some major family issues (I expect some fatherly beatings and major drug dealing). Anyways, one of them pulled a knife (switchblade) on my friend as we went by. My friend would be a real outdoors person, and the kind of guy you want on yourside in a fight because experiance has made him tough and skilled. The police were unable to do anything because only a fool would have kept the knife where it could be found. Go forward 4 years. Turns out one of the bullys had thretened the same friend again. By this time we barely had any contact, but all things considered, he is the best friend I ever had, and is also the guy who tought me how to ride a bike . Now there is a thoird party here who is also an outdoors kid. He also used to wear a steel toed boots that did not look like steel toes. Anyway, all of us found out, including the third guys brother who knew some guys of reputation not that far above the bullys (except that they didn't normally attack poeple, property was more their style). In total there are now six of us., Our opposition is the bully, his brother and 2 friends. We arranged a situation where they would threten my friend again, as an ambush. My other friend and myself had our winter paintball armour on as it was still cold out and the armour was chosen because melee combat is not uncommon in our paintball matches (as well as shoots at 10ft ranges by rifles set to hit a target at 150 ft). Anyways, the 4 approch my friend, and one pulls a knofe again. When he does that my friends brother and his friends leave hiding and takle the knife weilders friends while my friend and I use more substantial threts to subdue the guy with the knife. I had my automatic paintball rifle set near max power on a shoulder stap so I could 1 hand it easier, in my left hand I had my pistol. My friend (the one with the prother) had a pellet rifle with pointed pellets, and the guy being thretened had my other pistol and a 6 inch hunting knife. We then held them hostage and phoned the cops. Charges were laid and by this time he was old enough to actualy be charged. I had friends you really didn't want to piss off, and I was there because I had been thretened (in a way) way back in grade 7 too. What we preformed was a citizens arrest, quite legal too. Good times. Now incase your wondering, were are actualy pretty nice guys. The friend who had been thretened really was not ever bullied through any fault of his own. His only problem might have been that he spoke his mind perhaps a bit to much. As for the other friend, he had a bit of an ego I guess, but he never went looking for fights. His brother got cought up in the wrong crowed and suffered for it. He also ended up being subject to his mothers utter dissapointment in him for over a year, and I know it hurt him (and his mother) dearly. His younger brother, my friend, actualy found it a bit ammusing at first, but I expect it made the house a bit awkward. As for myself, I never pick a fight. I generaly don't like hurting people. Things like paintball are different as your willingly subjecting yourself to whatever in that situation. I have been bullied, and that bully learned that the rule about not fighting hockey golies can apply off ice too. My reflexes to block any incoming object such as a puck are more than capable of blocking punches and I am capable of landing a few of my own.

If you teleport twice per trip you could save time. starting at draynor bank, cabageport, to air alter, cabageport, to dranor bank.

Why the explorer ring is great
I use it inplace of my glory for draynor teles since half the time I am actualy trying to get to port sarim anyway. But if I am going to go to draynor much, I might use the ring rather than deplete an entire glory since I currently only have 4 (I could buy more, easily, but I don't want to). I really should replace the 5th glory I lost though, 4 is just not quite enough. I view it as a port sarim tele, which I have wanted for AGES. It could revolutionise f2p fishing too.

Gun control/i think i scared a few people
I know some guys older than myself who once took out a black suburben (might be called a Yukon now), and at least 2 were wearing rented mountie (Canadian Police) uniforms. Anyways, one had a plastic pistol with the orange endcap removed, the other passenger had a convincing wooden shootgun (saw some pictures). The 3 of them drove around pretending to shoot people late at night. Anyways, at least one person phoned the cops. When the driver returned home (alone, the passengers had already been droped off), he gets out of the SUV. Next thing he knows, theres floodlights and yelling as what he figured about 10-20 SWAT officers (Canadian equivalent to SWAT, whatever it is) litteraly jumped on him and beat him to the ground. They had taken this guy down (he would have been 17 or 18 I think) under ther assuption he was armed and dangerous. Morale of the story is, waving fake guns can accomplish one of two things in the end. First is that someone you pretend to threten will actualy be armed and will fire in what they belive to be self defence. The second outcome is being arrested, probably with some amount of injury sustained by the party being arrested.

Jagex has a suprise for us later this month?
That big supprise WAS the BTS. They released it a week late so we wouldn't be distracted from graphics by upcoming content. And as people have said, maybe you shoul dre-read the BTS, its not all out yet.

Charging for item lending moral?
A player must pay for an item to own it in the first place. It only makes sense that someone should pay you some money for using an item you spent your money on.

Once you go WOW, you never go back?
I'd play WoW, but considering just how much more expensive it would be (and since I am the one paying, I just can't be bothered to go out and buy it, then install it. RuneScape is much more convieniant. With RS, I don't feel any need to play to 'get my moneys worth', but I would definatly have that problem with WoW. Besides, I hate being a newb.

books and movies (and other forms of literature)
It depends on the story I think. If anyone has seen the movie 'crank' with Jason Stratham(sp?), you know that the movie would be a lousy book. It you be some stupid little thing thats not all that funny. For guys, if you are ever forced to watch a chick-flick (a real one mind, you can only do this once so chose wisely), get them to watch this movie. Our family has dubed it the chickflick for guys, since its still something of a love story at heart, but with all that humor that appeals generaly to most males. Other examples would be badboys 1 and 2. They could make deccent books, but I think the movies would still be more entertaining (blame will smith). I like both. Movies are great for action or when you don't have hours to read a story (I don't have many books that are short). Also, its easier to re-watch a movie than to re-read a book, and movies can be re watched many times. My family dose not rent, we buy, and have between 100 and 160 DVD's as a result. I also Have 6 shelves of novels in my room with each shelf being nearly 3ft wide I think. There are 14 such bookcases in another room (actualy teh library being balconey that circles the living room from above (its a victorian styale house), all full (though only about 3 are novels. Still the rest are full of other things).

Drop it. It never hit the ground -Philosophy-
The point of my tortise dtory was simple. Both problems are based on the same operation of continualy dividing an interval of distance into infinatly smaller intervals of distance. Because you know the runner will pass the tortise, you can safely assume the pencil hits the ground. Another non calculus way to do this would be to change the eqation slightly, so that you messure from dropping to some point after the pencil bounces. Of course, thats a fundamental change to the problem so it would be better to just lern calculus. This is really a form of zeno's paradox (or one of them, theres a few). Theres another one that can 'prove' thatnothing can move by only looking at instances/points in time. Essentialy a snapshot if you will, and we know that nothing moves in a snapshot. This paradox goes on the fact that since without timeflow, nothing can move (because time is needed to move from point A to point B) in any one given instance of time, nothing can move in any instance of time, and if nothing can move in any instance of time, then nothing can move at all. The thing is, hes right, nothing can move in any single instance of time, but it does not apply to real life anyways. Just like when I type, my fingers divide the distance from fingertip to key into incresing smaller fractions infinate time, yet even as they do that, my fingers will actualy complete that infinite series, hit the keys, and rebound many times per second. Your philosophy proves the pencil never hits the ground, it never gets there. I can prove not only that the pencil never left your hand, but that your hand is incapable of even opening to drop the pencil in the first place.

Runescape ADS and Not being able to type...
2 solutions. 1: on the off chance you are using vista, you should be using IE because in terms of security and preformance, the IE was made to work with the OS and firefox was not. And the not being able to wright anything outside of temp files without user permission in each instance only seems to work for IE. 2: I rember an anti-virus I once trialed (full trial). It that short time it proved superiaor to anything else I had used by combining anti-virus, adware and malware scaner/remover all in one. It also found stuff that nothing else on my computer found. Aside from that, it is an extremly effective ad blocker that actualy works unlike the one in forefox (from my experiance). Thers a third option I guess. Since it seems to be a firefox issue you have, you might just use IE for runescape, and if you want to be careful using the big bad and evil IE, download there client (it uses IE) but takes you rigth to there site. You could also make runescape your homepage.

Dial-Up
I haven't had dialup since 2002, maybe earlier. Then we got cable TV and internet. We moved on to satilite TV but the internet is still there. And it's unlimated. Actualy, I don't think I have ever herd of anyone reaching thier limit and I figure unlimated is fairly standard where I live.

Remote electricity...
It can easily be done, though its already been pointed out that the sun is useless for this. A tesla coil set to a high enough voltage can transmit AC power through air. You electric bill would go way up since air is an insulator. The voltage needed would rise as an exponential function with distance from the source. Basicly its done with induction, but this means any air between source and reciver is going to be ionized and thus dangerous.

Drop it. It never hit the ground -Philosophy-
We know that achillies will pass the turtle. Calculus deals with this sort of thing all the time, but basicly even though the points are infinate, the tortise will be passed. You pencil thing uses the same flawed logic. Using this, I could 'prove' that my fingers never touch my keyboard, but since I am writing this and I can feel the keys when I do hit them, I think its safe to say that I probably am hitting the keys and the philosiphy is just as flawed now as it was back in the time of the Greeks. Maybe someone here knows enough about calculus to disprove, I only have general knowledge of how it works, I have yet to learn the actual math.

New Runescape Banner Hint
Watch Elvargs offspring be an Adamant Dragon :ohnoes: . Were already up to mithril and Elvarg was green...and adamant is next in line which is also green. I'll just pray that its a brutal green at worst
