and a good battle it was. Im pretty sure I got their leaders armour and rune scimitar... how I the second lowest level person their besides Book Geek got that Kill I have no idea. at any rate it was a good fight over all... except the way the enemy leader ran that was disgracefull. it probaly hastend there defeat as well. Book Geek you said something about posting the battle on u tube and I think you took a few screenshots. I look forwards to seing them. im the one saying Militos Deci if you got me in the picture. we (unorclan and Allies) pulled around 40 opts I think. as to whearther or not we where in the wild at the time I have forgotten so I cant give you a reliable count of how many of us where their. but it was a fair ammount. I only regret the enemy had returned when I was heading to falladore to give the armour to my fallen Page. had I been there when they returned I would of given them a rather warm welcome. but it seems Unor clan and allies did a fine job dispite the confusion from the retreet and counter attack.

I dont know if this has been sugested as I am rather tierd and have only read the first 2 posts. I say randomes like the evil chicken need to be made more powerfull. as it is I have seen an auto outlast the evil chickens attacks untill it got bord and goes away. rick can barely hit them and they simply walk away, the tree spirit is too slow so they walk away, captain hand... the only randome that I have seen that kills bots is the sandwidge lady and maby those crediters. even then they just come back. one thing that would sure help is if jagex could some how put two and two togeather and figure out that if there are ten reports on ten diffrent bots with the same first name and 4 letters aftewerds and the reporter keeps yelling there in a series but keeps seing more and more of them come untill he relises there are thausands of them. maby if in such cases they could develp a program to scan for that name it would reely help. I could go on and on about what would help with the bot problem. that said your idea is drastic, I dont like the stronghold of security becouse of those blasted doors. it will reely kill runescape if they ask you questions. maby more aggresive randomes and a leathel evil chicken with a default level of 50 that persues its prey more than 5 squares would do much to solve the problem. maby an auto scan of heavely bot trafficted areas would help. theres alot of things that would help but this would just make us sesoned players run for the hills.

good, I strongly support this. however I do not feel that bait, nails exetra should also be storeable in this mannor or that they should have there own slot. for one it would be rediculess to have 1k iron nails in your pocket. for anouther that meens 2 slots for pockets, im sure jagex wants to keep more open for future updates. but this I think has a real chanch of becomeing a reality, almost every one supports and no flaims so far, I only wish I was this fortunate with my topics. about large items like saws I dont think anything larger than a hammer should fit in it, certainly not things as big as your head. of course since im not a member I dont know how big a saw may be. Keep up the good work, I hope to see this in game some day.

well you have my support, if only I could carry a chisile around with me for lack of bank space, as it stands I have to go buy a new one whenever I get a uncute gem. if I dont cut it odds are my bank space would be maxed out. it may need some modifications like only one tool can be put in it at a time. and the list of tools would have to be spacific, I doubt very much that a huge saw or pick axe would be in some ones pocket. on the other hand how will we use our tool? do we have to right click the tool in the pocket and select use and then go to use with the item in your inventory? this seems rather unpractible and only makes it usefull to those who have a randome gem. or it could be automatic like if its equiped it would say cut gem, cut (insert object heer) by default just like mine rock or cut tree with a equiped tool of that nature in your weapon slot. all togeather a good idea, I dont know how they would impliment it though, If they did I doubt it would be for more than one at a time due to java limitations, you dont see multiple arrows equiped in your quiver do you?

if jmods do show up we need to work out who speeks for us? each of us has unueque experionces but i dont think they can take the time to talk to every one of us. at most they will probaly pick ten of us to speek with. Black Bear is a Given but who else? Penguin geek I suppose and tetsue. we might want to work out who our officers are to help controll the crowd and speek for them if and when the jmods come.

but only for the short term. eventuly more people see the increase in the value of these goods and decide to provide them. the demand will be the same its just the supply that will be lessend. however (and this is the importent part) becouse of the abscence of that supply (and the raise in price) alot more people are going to want to provide it. the market will stabalize in short time and for the better. for as I had said in annouther post It would be the honest players who have the money instead of cheaters. and the market has many redundency's, for one alot of members can simply aquire these goods themselves it just takes alot of time. there is a point at which we can all agree to buy and sell at. too high and we wont get many buyers, too low and not many will be willing to sell or work twoards provideing the goods.

but like you said with the macros gone theres suddenly a bigger demand for these goods. then more players come in to fill in the gap. eventuly the market stabalizes and for the better, the money is in the hands of honest players not cheaters. so for a short term maby a week or a month those on top may suffer slightly from higher prices and inflation due to higher demand than supply, eventuly it will all stabalize. and dont forget some of us have been stockpileing for years waiting for this to happen, its our time in the sun and we will profit greatly and help restore the economy quite fast with our surplus goods. and the market is quite redundent, if one good stops being supply'd alot of people can switch to anouther source of revenue for the time being. of course macro's provide sevrall kinds of goods and in large quantitys. my point is in the long run, say in a month if macros suddenly dissapeard things would get alot better than they are now. so for jagex I say its time they did something very aggressive and kill every single bot thats chokeing the servers and ruining the game.

problem is those translation programs are junk when it comes to latin. they can give you a rough translation but they fail missrably to find the right one. for instance it said Honour was Honorum. but this was wrong becouse It was not the kind of honour we where looking for. the correct version we needed was decus. and even that was not entirely right, Deci was the possesive or some such to it. theres alot more to it too, basicaly you should get some one who knows there latin to help.

but if every one has more money from high alching then inflation goes on the rise. and did I forget to mention us Free to players will get the bad end of things? it is we who provide the members with these resources so for us its a matter of survival that we dont let these bots flood the markets with cheep goods. do not underestimate the value of vetren F2Pers who have been playing for years. it is we who help keep the F2P part of the game clean and exiteing. If these bots suceed in destabalizeing the economy to such an extent we will not be the ones profiting from it, we will suffer greatly and it will be us who are poor. Dont give the bots any pity or show them mercy, They deserve none. they are cheaters and thives. If they succeed then all us vetren F2Pers will get the bad end of the stick. I Like anouther poster said Prices and markets achive equilibrium eventuly, But I hope its not coal selling at 50 each. no matter how the market balances as a result of these bots F2P will suffer in the long run financely. as to wheather or not members will feel this, I suppose to a certain extent they will. but mostly I think members will find themselves richer than there wildest dreems for a time. then inflation comes and its like a empty currancy. fixed store prices will help but the market none the less will suffer from it. Members beware, when you see your less fortunate breathren fall from wealth to rags the end is neer. once we stop playing its over, runescape will never recover.

well then I feel this topic to be quite old. so unless there is still a discussion going on I will move it some wheres else... in fact we sort of have a rule about replying to topics that havent been reply'd to in a month. the debate and discussion is prety much over at that point and I like to decide what to do with them. well I for one would like to see them dissapear, I would finaly be able to make a liveing selling my goods. higher grade good items may raise in price but that would be a good thing. think about it, if items would have a greater value this increases purchesing power for all. inflation would begin to dissapear as the true value of items comes into being. now I know you may not think this is the case as the bots are makeing things cheep but thats just a small part of the bigger scheem of things. members are makeing mad money becouse of cheep goods. but what about us free to players? we are getting the bad side of things. get rid of the bots and we will make more money from our goods and services. members can always make lots of money from plenty of diffrent sources includeing high alching. but we the free to players have very few ways of doing so, mainly provideing members with goods and services. if life long free to players have more money we will be able to buy more things from mebers I.E. God armour, Trimmed armour, Guilded armour, excetra. makeing us a more usefull source of income for members. of course in eddition to getting rid of the stinking bots we will need more bank space to make this happen. if we cant store these items we want to buy we cant reely help the economy as much as we otherwise would.

well its interesting to say the least. we where accused of stealing the Knights Of Honor's name awhile back. thing is we where called the Knights Of Honour for over a year so we where abit unwilling to change our name. so I went ahead and made a disclaimer on our recrutement topic letting people know we where not the same. finaly for more reson than one we changed our name to the latin translation of "Militos Deci" it took alot of research to pull off I can testify to that. my point is if A clan has the same name as anouther clan they should at least have a disclaimer that they are not the same one as the other. but yes its difficult to know if your name is already taken, I googled the name for a long time and never got anything runescape related for Knights Of Honour. so I cannot be sure if Militos Deci is not taken as well but at least I checked. well at any rate hows it going now? are those other two caveing in to your demands or not?

hmm they seem to have missed us. I see no harm with this, if he wants to make a topic with a list of worlds and the clans that call them home he can go right ahead. if people want to crash your events theres alot of ways for them to find your world, I dont think this makes it much easyer at all as they usely have to have a motive first.

well if a jmod is not comeing there wouldent be much point in haveing a rally save to raise public awareness. might I suggest we start advertiseing the rally in game? we need more bank space! come join the rally for more bank space! do this in a bank once a day and fill people in on the details we could get alot more people to come.

yeah I have noticed things are dieing on the clan discussions board too. theres some ideas that may help to remidy this out there. but back on topic id like to update things a little. We are now known as Militos Deci. and yes we are still a tipit clan, as a matter of fact its the only place we recrute for members. tipit does have some nice things to offer clans not the least of which is a tighter community. heer your accomplishments are reconised and a higher density of clan leaders per capita see them. look at the battlefield book and vault of conquest if you dont belive me. it would be nice if more clans used tipit for more than just a recrutement topic, id love to see some of the debates of the past you talk about return.

do you want this closed? id like to leave it open for a while just in case a leader of a skill clan stops by with some imput.

well it vary's. mostly they tend to be more community based and relaxed than a combat oreinted clan. people with diffrent cross skills can help each other to gain wealth. for instance a wood cutter can have bows fleatched for free and a miner can get his ores turned into goods. on the other side of the coin those with higher item makeing skill levels get free xp from the other members. besides from that theres the community part of it, a good clan wheater it is skill or combat based almost always has a nice comunity its members are proud to be apart of. so there you have it some thing about skill clans. I myself lead Militos Deci although we are mainly combat orented I am trying to make some skill based events.
