1. Stop Whining.. 2. If they made trading under 100 restricted it would kindof make every skiller or pure or any lower level just get combat up to trade freely...and that really isn't fair. 3. Why have you now just started talking about the update, this happened almost a month ago, but just because two days before the trade deadline comes in you gets all ants in the pants when you've known this was happeneing for a month. 4. There are a few of us that have been here since the beginning, I have been too, runescape is changing and it will be for the better. 5. Next time post this in rants like the forum rules tell you to. Why post something if you aren't contributing to the conversation. If you don't play Runescape anymore why still say something about RIP Runescape. Of course it is dead in your eyes....you don't play anymore. Witht his update they screwed over the 1 thing a lot of people I know still play for. So yeah, RS died to me. The question I asked though is how are you contributing besides getting a +1 post count, go in rants if you want to talk about runescapes death. This is a thread about an Update going into action, not about how you think a reminder reminded you of why you quit.

To the Members that don't do the quests, shame on you. lol Quests are easy ways to get your base levels up before you actually have to start skilling them. On top of that some quests open up new places or new ways to get around, ex. fairy rings, hot air balloon, anchients, lunar magic. and again on top of that, they can be really fun and actually get you into the game more. I don't know that's just my two cents, and no I do not have the quest cape but I do have 209 quest points. I have fun at it I guess. lots of people know about the empty vial trick, and I have over 500k sitting in the Grand Exchange trying to buy them with none coming in. I say high alch things while your doing slayer, or use on anything that you can make then alch. I bring natures and fires along with me and alch any steel or mith or rune items I get while slaying it works pretty well.

Well, I got Dragon Leg drops today on a 13 Steel dragon slayer assignment, Dragon #2 dropped it and me and Xecer agreed to race to 99 Hunter from 70 (when he achieves 70 and after summoning clears up)

Yes I used a Ring Of Wealth, that is how I got all 3 dragon legs and 1 skirt down there.

3rd Dragon I killed out of a 13 Steel Dragon Slayer assignment, If your wondering why I brought the dinky Anchient Mace it's to see if the Special can help me stay down there longer, and I have been hitting pretty decent with it.

Yeah, I loved the guide I really want to start slaying those [insert censored word here]. I think you should push the salve amulet (e) more and maybe put a link on what quest that needs to be done to get it and which mini quest you need to enchant it.

Maybe if everyone stopped jumping down each others throats and making this a two sided battle with no middle ground, we could actually get somewhere. Me for one, likes that f2p gets small updates to keep them around and helping thier fellow f2pers and my fellow p2pers. The fact is, without members paying to play this game wouldn't be updated nearly as much and they would have to start loading up the ad banners even more to try and keep the game afloat. I have never called a F2P person a F2P CHOOOB or anything because I know they are a fellow runescapian. I just think that if there was no f2p, the lower level members or people who wanted to make money from gathering raw material would do it. I don't like how most F2P members think I don't gather my own resources and they act like its sooooooo easy to just buy a 99 skill. I go down and mine essence if I really need it, I go chop my own yew trees, I even mine my own coal, or use MTK to gather it for me. Anyway, I am just trying to say that I look at everyone the same. I just don't like it when F2P looks at me like Jagex gives me a Mil a month for just paying 5$ to them. And then on top of that F2P gets the game for free, but still wants more and more MAJOR updates like the summoning skill coming out. Be happy that you can play such a great game for free whenever you'd like and that Jagex gives you updates now and then so you can get a taste of what members is like. Go ahead and flame me now for being a self riteous P2P player. No I don't think I am better than anyone that plays runescape, I just think I pay 5$ a month, while others choose not to.

It is sad to see you go, but I am happy with the update and still will have fun playing. I don't use anything but the grand exchange most of the time so have fun in the real life.

I think that I have so many memorable moments on Runescape, just as I do in real life. Just because its a game doesn't mean there aren't real people behind their computers actually becoming your friends. When I go into lightning chat it gives me a whole nother reason to play besides leveling up some character on some game. I have friends there, that help me out like they would be my friend in real life. You might call me a dork for having good online buddies, but I find that some people in lightning chat actually make me laugh harder than anyone around ... Conclusion is, I think Runescape has been a great time and always will be. I love getting adrenaline rushes from seeing three rev orks. I love fighting til my whip should need to be repaired. I love going to parties on here and talking to everyone. PS. Yes I do have a real life and I do go out everyday with friends or family. Runescape doesn't run my life, I am just trying ton convey that while I am online I have a blast and I am happy that I play.

This might mess up market price for them, but you can buy battlestaffs from the guy in varrock for 7k ea and sell them around 8-8.3 ea. Make sure you check prices though, I have been diong it for the last couple days when I don't make my own battlestaffs.

I really don't understand why we keep arguing if F2P is going to get a new skill. I think F2P should be happy with what they have and stop trying to milk things for all they are worth. Either 1. Get a subscription.. 2. Stay F2P and be happy with what you have. I just am sick of hearing about how people that don't pay ...don't get enough... I am 18 and I pay with my OWN money that I WORK for. It really doesn't cost that much.

transferring a lot of money really isn't a way to help out your friends. You should all go do something together like kill monsters or something and try to get a good drop ... On top of that, they are going to help out people with more questpoints and let the trade limit go further so you can actually transfer items to your friends On top of that..... they are putting in a borrowing system so you can lend things to your friends and you get them back after you or him log off....

Yeah, even though jagex would never do this, people really should realize that we can only go up from now...so don't complain and get ready for fun level to raise.

I believe that anyway you do it you should use a path that you like to do it. If you like to buy your skills, then buy them. If you want to make a bunch of money and not level as fast then do it that way. In the end, buying the skill or using all skills together.....you are still ending up at 99 with the same experience as the guy that did it the different way.

Since the stronghold of security, the only true updates F2P has gotten are the 8 bankspaces and the team capes. An F2P update can even be re-releasing a members section like duel arena/bounty hunter....don't act like you didn't get those.
